Try to avoid repeatedly paying by card, pay just one bank charge by paying with cash. There is a cash machine outside The White Rose bar just two minutes walk from the hotel.

Rooms overlooking the pool are noisy til ~ 11pm .I suspect that mountain view rooms would be quieter. The lifts don't serve every floor.

This is the best spanish resort I've been to.
The town square was beautiful with a good variety of bar and restaurants close by.
The pine walk is a stunning place to eat as the sun goes down.
On the beach, there was even a mobile cinema on the beach one evening.
If you are young and looking for nightclubs and noise, then you won't find it here.
If I could afford to buy a place here, I would. It's absolutely lovely

you can't fault puerto pollensa.it has to be one of the most beautiful locations in the med.
the resort has a charming laid back style that would appeal mostly to families and couples.
entertainment is pretty low key,so anyone looking for a blaring music brit bar and lots of nightclubs would be better off elsewhere.
beaches and sea are very safe and clean.
the only problem we find with p.p is that we never want to go anywhere else.

Pollensa beach is wonderfull. Very clean and also safe for the children. We spent most of our time at the pine walk end of the beach however this did tend to become crowded at weekends (locals I think!). There are plenty of bars and restaurants along the promenade and the marina is worth a look. If you are staying in Pollensa, then take the boat trip to Formentor beach for half a day, it is beautiful but again becomes crowded in the afternoon. The ferry departs from the marina and tickets are around 8 euros per person return.

The resort itself was very nice.
We did not venture to the beach (not beach people) but what I saw of it on our walks was very nice.
The pine walk and walking along the promanade at night along to the harbour is a thing you must do. It is bustling but not too busy that you feel threatened. There are a number of arty stalls along the prom to look at and even buy if you feel the need. The sand sculptures were beautiful. In one place along the prom there was some street entertainment (it reminded me of Covent Garden).
To sum things up a clean, beautiful and safe resort.

The resort is great ...hardly any Brit Bars...and has a great continental feel with everyone walking up and down the prom and up to the Square..where there are some great places to eat...especially the mussels in cafe Centric..mmmm....followed by the 2 skewers of chicken kebebs and veg....loads to see and do ....and if you really have to go to a Karioke and get a pint of John Smiths...THE JOLLY SAILOR at the Pollensa Park Hotel is the one for you...Have a nice holiday..

This was my third visit to Puerto Pollensa. It is such a beautiful place.
It is a place for couples and families and has a very cosmopolitan feel to it. There are lots of lovely eating places, including Chinese, Indian, Japanese and Tex Mex!
If you are looking for a lively resort this place is not for you. There are lots of bars and there is a night club but it is not a noisy resort. If you are looking for something more lively Alcudia is next door and has lots going on!
I will definately be visiting again soon.

The resort of Puerto Pollensa is low key. I have never seen so many restaurants in my life,-whilst dining you are entertained by various musicians. We found an excellent Cninese restaurant where you could get a 3 course meal for 8.50euros. The only problem with the resort is due to the number of dogs with owners who do clean up after them, there is a bit of dog poo around.

We love Puerto Pollensa because it's clean, a great variety of restaurants and not too many places serving all day english breakfasts ! No english bars along the front either ! A quieter resort much, much nicer than it's neighbouring Alcudia.
This is the second time we've stayed in this resort. The beach is clean and has a gradual slope into the sea. My daughter did get stung by a jelly fish, but you get those everywhere!
Would definitely stay at this resort again.
