Try to avoid repeatedly paying by card, pay just one bank charge by paying with cash. There is a cash machine outside The White Rose bar just two minutes walk from the hotel.

Rooms overlooking the pool are noisy til ~ 11pm .I suspect that mountain view rooms would be quieter. The lifts don't serve every floor.

Puerto pollensa is a beautiful resort, the beach is about a five minute walk with good shops and a lovely port, plenty of english supermarkets if like us you have a baby and need food and nappies.

The beach is lovely and clean but again can get quite busy by lunch time. we have previously stayed in Alcudia and
menorca and found puerto pollensa slightly better.

Would definatley visit the resort again, and would reccommend the puerto azul to anyone.

Thank you thompson for a lovely holiday.

The beaches were kept clean and tidy and the resort entertainment was enough for what we required.
The hiring of sun beds and umbrellas cost 10 euros per day which could prove expensive if you did this for a week.
We really liked Puerto Pollensa it has a good atmosphere especially in the evening with lots going out without being threatening.

There is no beach near the apartments so you would have to go into Pollensa town, but the beaches there were clean and child friendly.

Puera Pollensa seems to have a lot of private apartments along the front therefore the larger hotels are primarily further along near the marina/main town area. In the town some hotels & bars look out onto the beach, lots of interesting jewellery stalls in the evening, plus street entertainment.

Busy square with lots of restaurants and bars, some british & irish bars which seem to stay open & a choice of restaurants. For our fried breakfast we used the Jolly Roger british bar (turn left at La Maina just along from the Hobby Club) In the evening La Maina, La Goleta, & in the main square Tex Mex & Maxims went out of their way to welcome our large group and the food was good.

Tamarells beach bar had the worst service, we have ever experienced in Spain!

The Day we got here was the end of the Festival the Resort had been Celebreating all week.We were treated to Live Bands on The Beach and a Brilliant Fireworks Display to round it off.The Resort is Spotless and the Beach is very clean.
Bars are plentyfull in the Centre (Bonys is popular)and you can sit and People watch while you enjoy excellent service in a Freindly atmosphere.
This is the Third time we have visited Pto,Pollenca and it never dissapoints.Best place in Majorca in our oppinion.

The resort was nice and clean and the food served in the restraints was good and value for money. We had a car so we were able to get to the hyper market to get water food etc which was bit cheaper. We were also able to visit neighbouring resorts

Resort entertainment is hard to comment on as most nights by the time the mini disco finished we just stayed put. On the nights we did venture out we did not come across anything to write home about.

The beach was small and quite. We are not beach people but from what we saw and heard everyone down there enjoyed it.

Superb resort. No lager louts. Lovely promenade with stalls on an evening and also the magnificent Pine Walk along the water front. Only negative I can really pick on is the amount of dog mess around. Local authorities should jump on this as it spoils an otherwise immaculate setting, and can only be the locals who are the guilty parties.

PP is a quiet family resort. No brash karaoke bars, nightclubs etc...

The beach stretches from the pine walk round to alcudia. The sandy part being at the Lenaire end. We did have a problem with clenliness on the beach (loads of cigarette butts) which is probably why it has lost its blue flag.

Do visit cala san vicente - bit of a pebbly beach but the snorkelling is out of this world. My 2 boys (4 & 10) were swimming with shoals of fish and octopus.

There are some fantastic restaurants on the square. Little arcade for children ( air hockey etc..) on pine walk. Loads of stalls selling jewellery, portrait painters, kids can paint their own pots. There are musician s that come round the restaurants but are not pushy so don't feel obliged to pay them. There is also a childrens entertainer on the Pine walk every night balloon modelling etc... If you eat on the square and you have children take a ball - all the children play here whilst their parents have a nice drink.

Water park in alcudia is small but worth a visit - no rowdy teenagers so your children can enjoy without being dive bombed IYSWIM

Have a great time
