Try to avoid repeatedly paying by card, pay just one bank charge by paying with cash. There is a cash machine outside The White Rose bar just two minutes walk from the hotel.

Rooms overlooking the pool are noisy til ~ 11pm .I suspect that mountain view rooms would be quieter. The lifts don't serve every floor.

It was our third time in PP in three years, It is a fairly quiet resort more suite to couples. There are loads of restraunts. There is a great marina full of fancy yachts. If you want a good breakfast, go to ET's in the street next to Burger king, great, only 4,50e, But doesn't open till 11am. Or for a good afternoon meal try the Pub Imperial on the front, facing the entrance to the marina. Well worth the money. It's also a good night in there too. They have some good singers on, especially Nikkie. It's run by Rafo and his son Carlos, also Tony the waiter. It's a really good night when Tony starts his dancing!

Puerto Pollensa itself is picturesque, clean and very well laid out. The Pine Walk and beaches are gorgeous and the square is lovely to walk around at dusk. However, although there are bars and restaurants none of them were particularly lively and we did get a bit bored during the evening as there is only so much people watching you can do. We found that the resort appealed more to families and old people and the nightlife reflected that as things wound down very early and entertainment stretched to local singers churning out 50's classics. Saying that, we did have a few good nights in Bony on the square, thanks to the madman with the pegged up trousers. We found the food was mainly good but expensive. Our best three course meal was in Centric (just off the square) and I would recommend my favourite tapas bar ever, Neptuno (also near the square) to anyone. We never saw any tourists in there, just locals and we struck up a good rapport with the man who works in there.
We enjoyed our week in the resort but a week was enough. We did get out and about as during the daytime there are plenty of places to go and the transport links are good. Pollensa Town is worth a visit, as is Alcudia. If you enjoy walking I would highly recommend the walk into the Boquer Valley (in Puerto Pollensa itself, at the back of the Pine Walk), S'Albufera nature reserve (between Alcudia and C'an Picafort) and the walk from PP to Alcudia.

As the season has only just started I couldn't rate the entertainment highly as there wasn't any. However, I'm sure there is more going on in the summer. The beach is lovely and easily accessible with a reasonable amount of parking available.

It is difficult to comment on the resort as we didn't see much of it due to our food poisoning from the hotel. However, the bits that we did see were very pretty and we would recommend people to come back to Peurto Pollensa but to go self catering and experience the wide variety of restaurants.

Great Resort, more quiet than Alcudia but everything that a family needs, Hundreds of restraunts to choose from, only thing is that there is a Burger King (Kids wanted to eat there every day!!!!!)

Potro Pollenca is clean and friendly. The beaches are stunning and the water is clear, shallow and lovely to swim in. The port has a lovely arrray of boats to look at and in general folks keen to show off their boats! The sand art is stunning along the bay too. The larger beach has imported sand but the small bays along the Pine Walk are real and nicer to walk on.
The town has lots of eateries and shops. At night it comes to life with street entertainment and stalls along the wlakway selling local handmade goods. Its nice to wander along or to sit and people watch. The Square near the center has lots of pubs and bars and are open very late. Nice atmosphere too.
We would return to Porto Pollenca without a doubt. Its relaxing and suited to our tastes. Not grat for teenagers though!

We love Puerto Pollenca. It is a fair walk to the resort centre but what a beautiful walk along the peaceful pine walk! There are bays all along the route which is like your own private beach if, like me, you don't like the busyness of the main beach. There are bars and restaurants to stop and therefore the walk is enjoyable. We didn't go into the town much because we found so much to do at the hotel, but when we did we couldn't fault it. We ventured out under our own steam (we hired a car) to the water park at Alcudia which was fantastic, and to Marine Land in Magaluf. The dolphin show was brilliant and the parrot show ok (although not as good as last year) but there is not much else to do and see there so check the show times when you arrive because that is the best part

Puerto Pollensa beach is beautiful and wouldn't hesitate to go again.
Loved the sandcastle makers on the beach to the left of the marina - so clever!
