Rooms overlooking the pool are noisy til ~ 11pm .I suspect that mountain view rooms would be quieter. The lifts don't serve every floor.

the resort was reasonbly clean. there was lots of restraunts and shops and a kfc,pizza hut and a burger king which was expensive. there was loads of gift shops but if you got a tummy peircing dont buy any belly bars my peircing went funny. there is a big supermarket 5 mins from where i stayed at the mariners and also a spar 2 mins away from the mariners. the beach is about a 15-20 min walk but is breathtaking and so worth the walk the sea is really clear and there a woman that sells fruit from a wheel barrow which is so tasty

What can you say about Puerto Pollensa except that it's beautiful. If you are looking for English bars and night clubs then this definately is not the resort for you. The beach is very picturesque with white sand and surrounded by mountains. There are plenty of sunloungers to hire on the beach but they charge 10 euro a day for two beds with shade or 7 euro for a single bed.
This resort is mainly made up of bars, restaurants and shops thrown inbetween. It's a very pleasant stroll of an evening up to the pinewalk area and the square which seems to be the most popular choice to eat and sit back and watch the world go by. Stall's are set up in the square of an evening selling jewellery and gifts, the whole place has a lovely atmosphere.
There are plenty of buses which are actually more like coaches and are very comfortable that run to other resorts from Puerto Pollensa and are very reasonably priced.
If you are looking for a relaxing family holiday I would say this resort is definately for you.

The beach was great with lots of sunbeds and clear warm sea. A super Promenade to walk along. Fab for families. Would of liked more entertainment/stalls of an evening along the front and in the square.

Puerta pollensa is a lovely town the best resort on the whole island from what we saw. Fantastic choice of restaurants, good value and any type of cuisine you could ask for. The beach is quite small but ok, can travel further and find other ones. We hired a car, the main road fom palma to puerta pollensa took one hour at most and was motorway or dual carriage way. Emjoyed eating in the square,
maxims and la pizzeria were top class food at reasonable prices. Enjoyed the pine walk and walking down there at dusk. Would recommend this resort, not far to travel to see the main sights of majorca or attractions or just stay there and relax. Western waterpark was good at maguluf. Children had great time. Didnt enjoy Alcudia. It was very busy huge and spread out, nice beach though. Went upto the mountains and cap d' formentor, not for the feint hearted! Very windy roads. But puerta pollensa lovely.

lovely resort, with a long clean beach which was good for our children to play around in. Lots of restaurants, didnt go in bars as we mostly spent the evening at our other hotel

Large beach with shallow drop off,lots of shade with sunbeds and eats/loos on the prom.Water is very clean,lots of blue flags about with the usual craft for hire.Great views of the bay and evan in the highest of the high season there's enough room.

Puerto Pollensa is a beautiful resort. The beach is very clean and there is numerous bars and restaurants to choose to dine in.
The beach is lovely and the water is very clear, you can even see fishes swimming by.
This resort is excellent for familes and I would visit again as soon as possible.

Puerto Pollensa is one hour hour away from Palma airport ,it is a quiet resort the main part Pine Walks is full of restaurants and great shops.

Puerto Pollensa is great. Resort caters for familes and older couples. Loads of restaraunts and shops. Thankfully no brit bars, Kareoke, sports bars or nightclubs!!

Superb resort-cant praise it highly enough. Excellent selection of restaurants, bars, shops etc. Lovely beaches-mind you dont cut your feet though on the rocks in the sea.
Loved sitting in the square at night just people watching. No chavs, no drunks just families, couples and a good mixture of nationalities. Fantastic marina to wander round. Lovely mountainous surroundings.
Cant wait to go back.
