Rooms overlooking the pool are noisy til ~ 11pm .I suspect that mountain view rooms would be quieter. The lifts don't serve every floor.

Just Returned from pollensa what a great resort
The Beach was a few mins away,and really loveley,bars and restaurants in the resort were really nice,The codfather was really good,very friendly and good value for money,Sinbads Restaurant was really really nice food was great, service was excellent, and prices were also good.Overall fantastic resort and will be returning in August cant wait!!

Didnt see anyone cleaning the streets or the dog mess,no entertainment all hotel based but lots of restaurants very pretty resort and marina,quite pricey to eat out.Beach was in different sections plenty of space and fairly clean,quite a few trinket shops,would go to this resort again

Peurto Pollenca is a pleasent resort with a long sandy beach and pine tree lines main street.
The shops in town were all much of a muchness selling the same things - expensive now the euro is much the same as the pound. We were half board at our hotel and thankfully so - it would have cost us a small frtune to eatr out at any of the many restaurants - again not a great deal of variety.
There is a big marina with some very smart boats to dream over owning!
All in all a lovely resort for those wishng a quieter holiday relaxing on the beach and in the clear blue sea, snorkeling and sun bathing.
We would definately return.

Island/resort excellent. Didnt try any watet parks-maybe next year. Wide selection of resturants

Puerto Pollensa is a beautiful resort and has a beautiful sandy beach. There are several bars and restaurants, but no lively clubs or discos which is great if this is what you want. My favourite bar was 1919 where they make the best coffee served with a very large brandy mmmmmmm delicious. The harbour is very pretty. You can easily get a bus to nearby Alcudia which is a lot more livelier, or get a bus to the old town of Pollensa which is true Mallorca in its entirety. It is very pretty. If you have not visited Puerto Pollensa before, give it a try it is lovely.

The main beach in pollensa is excellent, lovely sand and a nice steady slope into the sea. I was particularly impressed with the areas marked off for the pedalos, banana rides etc. They had ropes to restrict swimmers from crossing their paths coming in and out to avoid any collisions. Reasonable cost of 2 sunbeds and a parasol for 11 euros.
The promenade and pine walk make a lovely evening stroll or there was plenty going off in the main square if you like things a bit livelier without been over the top.
Definitely not a place for the lads or lasses holiday.

We've been going to Puerto Pollensa for some time now and love it. People are friendly, resort is breath taking and the beach is like nothing else. The 'square' is worth walking round which homes the market on a wednesday to get some good bargains and great restaurants on an evening with a lovely church. Watch out for the scooters when crossing the roads, pedestrian crossings mean nothing to majorcan's! 'Stay' restaurant is wonderful on the harbour and Tolos bar/reaturant is great on the front. The ice cream parlour on the round about in the harbour is a must!!

Peurto Pollensa is all on the flat no hills here!! Very clean resort Aludia is not a patch on it although we did stay there before & liked it P.Pollensa is way ahead. Its very clean locals are friendly & all restaurants we ate in were great although some had small portions. Entertainment is mainly apartment based so cant really rate resort entertainment as there was none! All in all fabulous holiday p.pollensa has all a family could ask for, but if you want bars & clubs or dont like kids dont go here!! Also dont miss pirates 2nd time round was still great the acts change every couple of months so it was all different to us well worth the money.

loved the resort , so clean. The beaches are lovely and the restaurants all all really nice can recommend little italy along the front of the beach . Loved it so much went 3 times ...
