Try to avoid repeatedly paying by card, pay just one bank charge by paying with cash. There is a cash machine outside The White Rose bar just two minutes walk from the hotel.

Rooms overlooking the pool are noisy til ~ 11pm .I suspect that mountain view rooms would be quieter. The lifts don't serve every floor.

Beaches

The beautiful beach is a 15 minute walk away through the residential area which is lit of an evening and nice wide footpaths to walk along. There are many sunloungers on the beach with shade but quite pricey at 10 eruo for two beds. If you walk up the sea front, opposite there are many bars and restaurants with gift shops and perfume shops scattered about. The square at night is lively with diners and people just relaxing having a drink. There are many restuarants to choose from but one of our particular favourites was Tango's on the corner of the square. It was very poplular and at times people queued to wait for a spare table. Opposite Tango's is an Irish bar which is nice to sit outside, the service is excellent and they are very friendly, if you like a heavy night they do acutally stay open till 4am! Another restaurant we found good was along the front called Simbad's, again this gets very busy and is quite small outside but you can eat in and they are very friendly.
Up towards the harbour you will find sand sculptures that are lit by candles of an evening, these are amazing and a pleasure to look at. You will also find a few stalls along the front selling jewellery and the odd artist sketching portraits.
Alcudia is only a few minutes down the road by bus and there is a regular bus service running every 15 minutes and a bargain at only 1 euro 10!
Puerto Pollensa is a beautiful resort ideal for families, it is not rowdy and I think you'd be hard pushed to find a night club however if you are looking for British Bars you will find one or two by the Pollensa Park Hotel, they tend to have tribute bands and most nights Kareoke if you like that sort of thing.
I would definately stay in Puerto Pollensa again but somewhere more local to the resort. I would just like to add that you need to be extra careful when crossing the roads, especially if you have little one's with you. There are quite a few zebra crossings but it's hit and miss if the traffic will stop to let you cross. Sometimes traffic going one way will stop but traffic coming the other won't, we found this quite dangerous. We even got stuck in the middle of a crossing one night because a car refused to stop whilst we were half way across.

Lovely beaches, if too few spaces because of private hotel beaches.
El Mojito restaurant and galleon restaurant excellent.
Tango restaurant - Don't bother! Service terrible, staff unhelpful, food mediocre and place not very clean

The resort was great.
Going for walks along the promadade or the pine walk was beautiful. Worth doing this epecially to look at the sand scupltures.
There are plenty of shops, restaurants, etc for everyones taste. The BFS & card shop were exceptionally helpful.
Found shopping in the spanish supermarket cheaper than spar for most things and they sold fresh bread and rolls everyday. Al Fresco is fantastic for lunch. They make up rolls, sandwiches, etc to order to take away.
Cleanliness of the resort was ok. Some streets were better than others but the beach area and promonade/pine walk were execptionally clean.
To sum up this is definately a great and safe resort to stay especially for families.

Resort cleanliness was only brought down by the amount of dog mess on the pavements etc, you wouldnt see a piece of rubbish, but look out for the dog mess.
PP as a resort is great for families, a good selection of restaurants, and shops.
The beach was very clean, and sunbeds were available.

The hotel is a bus ride(1,10 Euro) or Taxi(6 Euros) from Puerto Pollensa. I wouldn't recommend walking as it is a very busy road with no path.
We visited the town most nights, it is lively with restaraunts and bars, and stalls selling jewellery along the front. Visit Pascalinos - if you're up for a late night - they seem to serve all night!!
We also visited Alcudia, which again is only a bus ride away for 1,10 Euro. However the buses do stop at 20:00 so will need to catch a taxi back. If you like Steak visit The Lunar Bar in Alcudia!!

The resort of Puerto Pollensa is beautiful and one of the nicest we have been to anywhere, not at all tacky (hardly saw any british pubs) lots of lovely sea front restaurants and bars and also nice around the square. I would recommend a walk along Pine Walk down to the hotel Illa D'Or which has a lovely bar opposite right on the beach, drinks were about twice the price as anywhere else but lovely views back across the bay to centre of resort and a nice treat. The Orange bar was also expensive but again a nice setting by a pool built out to sea and a nice treat when the kids were asleep.
The beach was nicer as you walked away from the resort past the marina, bit more spacious and the sea was lovely and warm.
We had a fantastic holiday in Puerto Pollensa and would definately return there and also to the Puerto Azul due to its good facillities and exellent location.

Porto pollensa is clean and safe.
There is no nightlife to speak of really suited to young families who want the mini disco a couple of drinks and bed. The hotel acts do the rounds it's amateur hour but what do you expect.
You will meet some good people here and that will make your holiday.
I would go again but I miss the bookies in PALMA NOVA where you can have a day at the races with alchohol-it's a tough decision.!!!!

Beach is fantastic for kids, and there is a nice breeze though watch out for jelly fish! Pine walk is lovely and very relaxing. The square is a must visit in the evening as you can relax with a drink whilst the kids play in the middle and are quite safe.
There are loads of retaurants, for lunch try Little Italy on the Pine Walk or the Dakota also on the Pine Walk. There is a great sandwich shop if you are on the beach called Al Fresco which is close to the Dakota up one of the side streets from the beach. It is run by and English couple.
The marina is fantastic and is a must visit.
