Try to avoid repeatedly paying by card, pay just one bank charge by paying with cash. There is a cash machine outside The White Rose bar just two minutes walk from the hotel.

Rooms overlooking the pool are noisy til ~ 11pm .I suspect that mountain view rooms would be quieter. The lifts don't serve every floor.

The resort was great and have been here before so a return visit and nothing has changed in terms of loads of new buildings which is nice.
Beach was cleaned often and the sea is so clear and calm - it was lovely.
the place has alot of character and has lots of lovely restaurants to try and bars to sit and watch the world go by.

PP is so quiet -but not "dead" - it is great for familys with young kids, as all the entertainment it over by 11.15pm and the bars close at 12.
Our kids were at the time of travel 16 & 12, and they loved everyminute of it.
I would highly recommend the puerto Pollensa area (pine walk) and the Flora apartments.

The resort is clean and the beach is well served with sun beds, life guards and lovely sea front cafes and resturants. The marina is full of boats and is picturesque.

We did Self-catering and found the supermarkets are mainly geared to fresh food not frozen. Eating out within the town is endless! You could stay there for a month and eat in a different place each night! Prices can be high, so look around as there is plenty of choice.
Around the tourist parts of the town we found the resort to be very clean, so no complaints at all in this respect.
Entertainment within the resort is mainly geared to socialising in the restaurants, and there are a few bars. I saw one nightclub or Disco as they called it! But the resort does not really cater for young people, it is more geared to families and copuples. We really enjoyed the place, as we felt at ease when going out at night with my young daughter. We did not encounter any trouble during the 2 weeks we were there.
The main beach is very clean and the sea is quite calm so good for the little children to swim in. The hire of 2 sun loungers and a parasol is 10 euros a day, so not that cheap if you choose to go to the beach each day.
The Pine Walk area of the town is very nice and there are quite a few restuarants along this stretch which is ideal if you have young children, as they can play on the beach areas within sight while you get a break!
We will definitley be going back to Puerto Pollensa in the future, but will be hiring one of the many appartments that we seen in the Pine Walk area, as we noted down the web addresses when we were there. I hope this information proves useful, as we did not find alot of information about the Aparthotel Duva before we travelled, which was abit frustrating as we had not been to either Puerto Pollensa or Majorca before.

Puerto Pollensa Majorca is a child friendly, cosmopolitan resort, which is safe, relaxed and fabulous. The town square at night is lovely, safe for children as there are no cars, plenty of bars, restaurants to cater for all needs, you can have a coffee and watch the world go by!
The pedestrian walk with all the eateries is a must, overlooking the harbour and beach.
There is good access to other resorts nearby, it's must for those looking for somewhere special.

Both Puerto Pollensa and Alcudia are great resorts.
Puerto Pollensa is a great location for a traditional Spanish feel with its square surrounded by bars & restaurants.
The beach at peurto Pollensa is rocky, although the beach at Alcudia is the best i have ever seen, the sea is warm & clear with lots of watersports and is a beach lovers dream.
I would definateley go back to this area, it is an ideal location for a family holiday.
