We were in block C and were very happy with this as it got the sun until about 1.30 p.m.
Block A got the sun in the afternoon and evening but this could make the room very hot.
Having said that all rooms seem very spacious and bright.

Beaches

beach was ok always had enough sunbeds for us all, annoying people coming around asking if we wanted to buy melons, but they soon went away when we said no. the resort was clean with plenty to do day and night.

The resort of Sa Coma is very nice. Enough shops and bars for your holiday stay although quite samey! Plenty of English bars as well. The streets are kept clean although there was quite a lot of rubbish that accumulated in the car park near the beach from nearby bars and shops that was only really collected once a week. (This did not affect us). Some karaoke bars, bars offering TV, did not see any night clubs as such and therefore the resort is ideal for those looking for a quieter holiday. Good taxi service and the bus stops are dotted along the main road. All the bars and restaurants we visited were clean and tidy and offered good food - we did not have one bad meal. The beach was fantastic - bins were emptied and the beach cleaned every evening. Could walk for miles out to sea and there was only minimal sea weed! Could also walk a long way along the beach. Sun beds and umbrellas a little bit dear to hire but the beach is a must! Would recommend sa coma to anybody looking for a quieter holiday but wanting a good beach, good food and a relaxing time without it being mega expensive.

A great family resort. Enough restaurants to choose from that cater for all tastes and a clean and safe beach.
No nightclubs around but quite a few bars where you can sit down and have a great night chatting to friends and family while sipping away at your favourite tipple!!

Third visit to Sa Coma. Before starting a family we have never been people to return to the same place on a package holiday but we are already planning to book again for next year. This is because it is perfect for families. The beach is excellent with lovely clear water. You can walk out for 40M and the water is still below your waist so it great for kids. Sunbeds on beach are 4EU plus 4EU for the fixed parasol. Sa Coma is a quiet resort geared very much to the family. My main criticism of Sa Coma contrary to other reports is the lack of decent restaurants. Personally as soon as we see a Union Jack or the words Brish food we walk straight past. The best restaurant is La Bodega opposite the Caprabo supermarket on the main road into Sa Coma. Good restaurant / patisserie next to the Brittania Pub. The great thing about Sa Coma is that you are a short taxi or land train ride away from Cala Millor and Cala Bona which provide a better selction of clubs and restaurants and have a bit more atmosphere.

the only thing that let the resort down was the gran playa, all bars very good, especially royal oak suggest you order kids portions shops sold everything you could ever need even writing pads for hotel complaints

A nice "friendly" resort. The resturants in the area around the hotel are a bit "chips with everything" but if you walk a little further then things get better. The beach was clean and safe and the kids could walk out quite a distance whilst still feeling safe.

Sa Coma itself is clean and the community is a mixture of English, Spanish and German.
The beach and sea is also clean.
