We were in block C and were very happy with this as it got the sun until about 1.30 p.m.
Block A got the sun in the afternoon and evening but this could make the room very hot.
Having said that all rooms seem very spacious and bright.

The Resort
Well if you like your food to come with chips then you will like it. We just wished there was a little more variety apart from the chinese restaurant.
Overall
Brilliant and we will be coming back next year. So if you are there and we met you this year then we look forward to meeting with you again.
P.S.
The McEwans (Shandypants) thanks for making our holiday such a great one and lots of fun!!

We stayed in Sa Coma on the east coast of the island. Very nice area, some good pub/restaurants, we liked the Britannia Bar for breakfast and the Happy Bar for evening though we did go to other places.
Plenty of supermarkets for food drink etc and souvenier shops a plenty all reasonably priced. These are all situated in one main area we found but a few were a little farther away.I had to go to a pharmacy for some relief from mosquito bits and they were most helpful.
There is a cafe/pastry shop on the corner of one of the main streets that sold the most heavenly ice cream. You must find it and try the "yoghurt" ice cream! Transport seemed to be frequent to other nearby resorts.
The resort was clean apart from bin day when cardboard boxes and shop rubbish was on the pavements, but that has to be expected anywhere.
The beach was clean but very crowded, the water clear and warm, sand very fine and gently sloping to the water which was shallow for quite a way out. The only bugbear on the beach were the melon sellers who made a beeline for newcomers, obvious because of their "white skin", but once you had a bit of a tan you were left alone. I've no doubt that the fruit was freah and clean but they were asking silly prices for a what was literally a mouthful of fruit.
On a Wednesday, there is a street market in Sa Coma with some good stalls, most will barter and you can get a good deal.
Entertainment appeared limited though some of the bars had live bands or kareoke. However this was not a resort if you like a full nighlife, there were no discos etc. Everything was aimed at the family market not the young free and singles!
We would go back to this resort again or recommend it to others as a nice friendly, family resort

The resort was clean, good variety of shops, bars and restaurants. Mainly German clientelle but some English bars. Found a lovely little Spanish restaurant which served superb food just a few hundred yards out of the main road. Beach was beautiful - only visited in the evening but the sand was clean and very safe for children. Promenade great for evening walks.

I really enjoyed this resort. It was clean and safe. I am a single parent and my dad came with us on this holiday but I would go back with my two young children on my own.
The resort was just the right size. The beach was great and kept clean - my little boy loved watching the tractor going up and down the beach every night.
We went in July and it was hot. We spent the day by the pool or out and about on trips. In the evening, after dinner, we went down to the beach so that my children could play - it was great, the sea was warm and I didn't have to worry about sunburn. Also, the sand didn't stick because they weren't wearing sun cream, it was just a case of brushing sand off their clothes! Then it was back to the hotel. Our room overlooked the stage, so I could watch the entertainment whilst my children were asleep in bed.
There are lots of opportunities to go on some great trips. We went to the Caves, Pearl Factory, Marineland and on the glass bottom boat to Porto Cristo, which is a beautiful place and on my list of places to stay.
Also a big hit with my children were the road trains. We took these regularly to neighbouring resort.
I will definately go back to this resort. I have been to Majorca twice, my first time was in Soller. I love Majorca and would love to buy a second home there.
We are going to Menorca next week and I just hope it is as nice a it's neighbour.

Quiet resort with lots of BRITISH restaurants. All you can get is with chips!!!! Burger king on the beach. Even chicken tikka masala comes with rice AND CHIPS. If you want a taste of spain forget it. Lovely clean beach but lots of beach parties at night and dogs are permitted on the beach - be warned!!!!!

Some good pubs and restaurants. Price wise it's very reasonable. You have a tobacco shop right across from the hotel for you cigarette stock, the cheapest that we could find.
The beach is excellent.
if it wasn't such a noisy hotel we might go back, maybe try a different hotel.

The resort is mainly british with a minority german visitor, the beach is excellent with lifeguards. It is your typical med resort with british bars etc and sporting/family things to do (mini-golf, small zoo, golf driving range, fun fair type rides). You can also catch the ferry to Porto Cristo, Cala Millor, Cala Bona and other nearby resorts.

The beach was clean, and the surrounding area was attractive. But hotel/restaurant bins were left on the street, which was a bit unsightly. All the shops sold the same tat, and many of the restaurants served english foods, would have been nice to try some local fare.

Sa Coma is a nice place, however a very large German, Croatian and russian holiday makers, found this resort did not compare to the South \west of the island
