Location
We had a room on the 6th floor, which is the smae floor as reception, and despite being just around the corner from the reception in room 618 there was no noise at all. Everything in the room looked new - from furniture to bedding, bathroom was a good size with a fantastic shower.
Balcony quite small, but fine for us, with a fantastic view over the bay to Santa Ponsa. Air conditioning worked even if the balcony door was open (never had that before) and leaving a card in the slot guaranteed a lovely cool room on our return.
We had fresh towels every day, and room cleaned thoroughly. Sheets only changed once during the week, but that wasn't a problem.
Near enough to the square for the location be fine for us, and went couple of times into Santa Ponsa which was about 20 minutes away but a nice walk. We would go to the square most nights and sometimes at lunchtime - plenty choice of nice eateries and bars.
Hotel staff were very pleasant and prices for drinks very reasonable.
Didn't stay in the hotel in the evening so don't know what the entertainment was like, but in the day there was the usual waterpolo etc, and things going on if you wanted to join in. Mixture of nationalities, but mainly British guests it seemed.
Bit of rush for the sunbeds at 8.30 which was the earliest you could put towes down, but worked fine - beds are of the non reclining variety - ie flat and hard, but a cheap lilo soon sorted this out,and there were plenty brollies, so never had a problem there. Terrace could be quite packed with beds, as it it not particularly big, but there are 2 pools which helped spread everyone out a bit.
Overall this was an excellent 3 star hotel, and I would definitely visit again - we went DIY and saved

The staff were quite superb and nothing was too much trouble to them. We would reccommend this Hotel to anyone except those with walking difficulties and a wheelchair is just not a good idea.
Unfortunately our pre holiday information from our Travel Agent aid the hotel was wheelchair friendly and the brochure also bore this out.
However, because of this we were unable to leave the hotel and after 5 days, we wee fortunate enough to get moved to Magaluf and thus enjoy the rest of our holiday. So don't forget, if you have a wheelchair, keep away.

Staff very helpful and always smiling. Food very good with drinks at reasonable prices.
Entertainment very limited because of a lot going on in the nearby square

Booked for B&B and was happy to have a large 3rd floor apartment with bedroom, living room with 2 settee beds, 2 bathrooms, tiny kitchen (cupboard with sink, fridge and 2 rings) but fridge was very useful, we also had 2 VERY large balconies (bigger than some rooms I've stayed in).
Food good, lots of choice and hot, English bacon every morning along with the usual buffet.
Daytime Entertainment (5 star)excellent, Leigh was really good with children and adults, my kids didnt want to leave hotel in case they missed the waterpolo, rifle shooting, archery, bowling, pool games, diving, kids club etc that went on from 10.30 till 2. Champagne on offer to winners, we won so many we couldn't drink them all!
The beach is 20 min walk but we didnt go very often. You can get straight into sea down hotel steps.
Evening Entertainment (only 3 stars for this) - went out most nights to the square 5 mins walk, loads of bars, entertainment was Madonna, Abba, Beatles, Robbie, Westlife, Drifters etc. Hotel entertainment didnt try to compete, Leigh did some good karaoke, but other than that not a lot on.
Snack bar quite cheap and reasonable selection of food offered, gets very busy.
Cleaning every other day, rooms could do with some updating, but are adequate for what you need.Had a few ants visit room, but maid gave us a large can of spray which kept them away. Air conditioning worked well, rooms cool during day and night even with the 30s temp outside. Pool area has a breeze, several parasols blew down often, even going into pool.Pool tiles are very slippy - BEWARE. As usual guests reserved sunbeds from 8.30 onwards, some people not bothering to return till 3 or 4 o'clock when there were plenty available anyway. If you are going to sit at the pool fair enough, but the ones who go out for the day and have their sunbed waiting unused all day really annoy me.
No noise on evenings, all staff very friendly and pleasant, particularly Leigh and the overworked daytime chef (the whistler), will definately return.

When we arrived at the hotel and walked into the reception area the view was absolutely fantastic. Wall to ceiling windows looking straight out to the sea.
The restaurant food was buffet style and there was plent of choice. Cold starters and soup, a selection of fish, meat and vegetables (and a good kids choice). Most nights they had a roast or something like Paella. The deserts were varied and always had a selection of ice-cream which the kids went back for extra helpings of chocolate ice-cream every night!!
The drinks were also very cheap, a bottle of wine with your meal from 6 euro's.
My parents stayed in a standard twin room and we had an apartment which was a nice surprise. We had a twin bedded room together with an ensuite bathroom plus a separate living room (with 2 sofa beds and another single bed), a little kitchenette, and another bathroom!! The only downside was that the Airconditioning was controlled by the hotel and we didn't really feel it at all and the towels are'nt changed daily (every other day).
My older daughter loved the kids entertainment and the rep (Lee) was really good with all the children. My husband joined in the archery and shooting that Lee ran on a daily basis.
It is quite a walk into the centre of Santa Ponsa but to be honest there is enough going on in the Square (5 mins walk) so no need to really go into the centre unless you want the beach. We stayed by the pool most days and I must say that the tiles on the floor around the pool are VERY slippy and dangerous when wet. One lady fell and broke her arm whilst we were there so be careful.
We really enjoyed it and would go back again.

The staff who were all dressed smartly were very polite and friendly.
The hotel itself stands at the edge of the headway and commands the best views of the resort and surrounding area.
Breakfast is served between 8 and 10 and there is plenty of choice. Dinner is served between 6 and 10 with a whole host of choice, you will easily find something you like.
I cannot comment on the hotel entertainment as we spent most nights at the square.
The pool area is well laid out with sunbeds but you do have to join the queue to get one, be there by 8am.
The only downside to this hotel that we found was the floor tiles around the pools became very slippery when wet, a number of guests slipped and broke their wrists so do take care.

The best thing about this hotel is the views over Santa Ponsa which you are met with as soon as you enter reception. Reception is on the 6th floor, and most rooms, restaurant, pool, etc are on lower floors which is a very strange experience.
Our room was on 2nd floor, and we had an excellent view of the pool area. This caused as much amusement, as we were able to watch the scramble for sunbeds which started at approx 8.30am each day as soon as the cleaners had finished cleaning the pool area - This was despite a notice saying pool did not open until 10am.
Room was very nice, and air conditioning was most welcome.
Food was best I've had in a Spanish hotel. Although it wasn't a patch on the food I had during 2nd week when we were on cruise, we certainly had no complaints.
Hotel would not be suitable for anyone with walking difficulties as it is at top of a hill and would cause anyone problems walking into town.
Hotel staff were most efficient.
I can not really comment too much on the entertainment as we spent most evenings down in Santa Ponsa itself.

Bedroom was modern bright and clean, had A/C.Food very good plenty of choice & hot food that was hot!
Restaurant could get busy, we found it best to go down late. Can not comment on the sunbed situation we were there in march, it was sunny but a cool breeze,& sunbeds
had been put away.
Enterainment at night, well! They did try, bingo etc.
Will we return to this hotel? Yes shortly will be booking our October break there

Food: A good variety of food and plenty of it - there was something for everyone here. You certainly will not go hungry! My only reservation is that buffet service is ok for breakfast, but in the evening the sound stacking and clearing of plates etc make dining less relaxed, and certainly not a romantic experience! However, we were aware of dining being a buffet service here before we booked. Also the dining room does not have a sea view or any outside view for that matter, which is a pity in view of its stunning location. I understand the company may be reviewing this situation, but have to consider the loss of revenue from rooms lost to create the view.
Location: It has one of the most stunning settings I have ever seen, with a superb view over the Santa Ponsa Bay and other bays nearby, being positioned on a headland. Great for sunbathing and swimming in the heated pools. However, the hard plastic sunbeds are not provided with any cushioning, and only a few have back rests that can be raised, say for reading. But you can buy blow up plastic "cushions " in local shops for about
