We ate a few times at the sol parc but preferred to try different places. The food was good if a little pricey. Bar and Waiting on staff could not be faulted.
The pool is very cold because of the pine trees but that didn't deter the kids as we were usually out around the island all day and just came back late afternoon for a quick dip and to get ready for the night ahead.
Plenty to do during the day if you stay on site Archery, Rifle shooting bouls, football, water polo etc. The entertainment was alright for the kids and kept them occupied while we chilled out after a long day. Usual holiday stuff tribute bands magicians comedians parrots on bikes.

The staff are friendly and helpful, we never spoken spainish before, but now we know alittle with the staff's help.
Beaches around the area are great, very sandy and clean, and the sea is as blue as topas, great for snorkling, even if not snorkling you can stlll see the fish swimming around you.
The strip is much more better value the local spar, and car rentals (visit the one near the end, cheapest)Sagatios is very good value for money, you can get a 3 course meal for only 8.10(euros)and a good choice menu for it too.
The kids around the area, seemed to be having a very good time, alround entertainment for them and competitions.
If you like great views then you will love this place, and much go to Le Torro, you can see nearly all the island from up there (and its free)

The apartment itself was very clean and tidy, we noted that for only two people staying there, they had given us six toilet rolls, were they trying to tell is something. As it was, no!!!
The entertainment at night left a lot to the imagination. They started with a kids disco, which consisted of 'The Music Man', 'Agadoo' and 'Superman', however, one night the First Choice children

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the maids kept everything very clean.
The entertaimnent staff worked very hard to keep the children occupied although our 12 year old son prefered to entertain himself with a friend he made at the resort.
There are fans in the bedroom and you can hire a fan for the lounge, although we took one with us.
The money exchange at the hotel was at a favourable rate so there is no need to go to the banks.
We bought sun umbrellas in the local shops for less than the hotel hire charges. Most people do this then pass them on to other people at the end of the holiday, so you might be lucky.
Swimming pool can be a little cold but children don't seem to mind.
The sea is much warmer and just a short walk through the sand dunes, definatly well worth the effort.
Food is availble on site.
If possible hire a car via avis before you go, we booked ours through the tour operator for

Some points to be aware of but none of them ruined our holiday:
Hotel pool is very shaded, especially the kids pool. This is great for the health of the childeren but can get a bit chilly if they are at the age where you have to stay near the pool watching them.
The walk to the beach is 'not far' but seems like miles on the way back with tired young children. Some of the path is on wooden boards but around 60 yards is not. This is hard work when pulling a pram through the sand (uphill on way back)!
2 bed apartments have staircases. There is a stairgate at the top - but not at the bottom.

The complex is really big with lots to do! We stayed in room no.57, the pool was directly in front of us so we could go for a swim then just hop over the balcony, so were the pool tables and the table tennis tables. There was a swing park which was to the right off us and also like alittle gym thing and so were the volleyball nets. The multi sports court were just about a 100m walk and the main entertainment was just a short walk away.
The complex pool is really nice a bit cold though but you soon warm up. I wasn't really sure about this as on other reviews it said it was shaded by big tree's. That is a load off RUBBISH! it is beautiful, 2-3 tree's around the pool which dont even cover it!
The complex have a lot of kids clubs for all ages! they do lots of different things which are really good, they also have a teenagers club, called wavelength for 9-16 year olds. I went to that and it was brill! they took us to a waterpark on the saturday and that was good and they take us down to the beach to play games, It wasnt like a little kids club it was grown up and really good.
During the day 2 people come round gathering kids to play all sorts of games, to win a lollypop and to recieve a certificate on the evening.
The complex bar, souvenir shop, supermarket and restaurant/take-away were o.k, a bit expensive though. For a cone of chips it was about

I was cautious about the location before i got there but i thought it was lovely , not too lively and you dont have to worry about young yobs making too much noise. The beach was fantastic the water was so clean and being see through it gave me peace of mind. The staff were great and Issac made the holiday great fun always trying to make you laugh whenever you saw him. The clubs for the kids are great always busy and keeps them occupied for a couple of hrs while you have a rest.

The apartments were clean and functional and surrounded by pine trees. A pleasant walk to a wonderful beach.
The hotel staff were always friendly and the small entertainments staff were excellent.
As regular travellers fed up with over commercialised resorts we found the Confortel Sol Parc a refreshing change.
