The resort was one of the cleanest we have visited, the beach was out of this world, lovely and sandy and a gentle slope into the clear sea, perfectly safe for children.
The sun beds were a bit pricey €7 a day each plus €5 for an umbrella.

There was a number of restaurants and wait for it not a karaoke bar in sight, brilliant!

It was a quite place and not a place for teenagers, we toured the island and Cala Galdana was definately the best resort for us.

There wasn't much entertainment, though in the square there was entertainment for the children that was quite good.

We would definately return. Though perhaps after looking at the restaurants we would book an apartment next time, the food looked delicious.

Absolutely loved Cala Galdana who wouldn't with its lovely white beach, beautiful blue sea and horse shoe bay it is one of the best beaches I've been to and seen a few on my travels to Menorca, Majorca, Ibiza, Greece and Portugal.

The resort is quieter than some on the island and has only a few shops and about 10 or so restaurants. It is definitely not for 18-30's looking for a good time, but will suit families or couple's looking for a peaceful break.

Be careful with some of the restaurants as gratitude is already included.

We hired a car from Avis and travelled the island and which was definitely worth doing. If you are going to go on day trips we actually found it cheaper to hire a car and go to the water park than travel on the coach with our tour operator, we could also leave and arrive whenever we wanted.

The Beach has to be the most beautiful on the island - very clean with turquoise waters in the horse shoe shaped cove. Nice restaurant set up on the cliff. Lots of nice shops and restaurants to walk around in the evening as well. Pharmacy/Chinese Restaurant (wouldn't recommend though)/ 3 large hotels where you walk into in the evening and watch their entertainment.

Overall - fabulous!!!

In general quite clean, entertainmemt varied,(possibbly to quite for older kids/teenagers)don 't expect to disco till dawn this place is relaxing, beautifull beach
safe, shallow, crystal clear water, only a few fag butts to spoil an otherwise perfect beach.

Didn't want to go home, cant wait for our next visit!

A very nice resort, clean & lots to see & do. Very pretty beach.

We ate out in town nearly evey night, & I can recommend Es Barranc (good fresh delicious food.Try the "Xot"),Peaso Maritimo (the best homemade Pizza & lovely fish) & Sa Luna which is just by the Flora Mar.

This place we did not go into until our final night, as to be honest it does not look much from the outside, but do try it. It was the best meal we had in town (the sea bass was to die for!)Great Irish coffee too, with the whiskey poured flaming into my coffee cup by the waiter. He also deserves a mention for being a great host & a mine of info on the area.

We also ate out in Cuiatadella, Calan Forcat & Fornells & ate well every time.

We were lucky enough to catch the Fiesta celebrating the opening of the new bridge which was great fun!

The resort was clean and well maintained. The beach was lovely and very safe for children. The only down side was the sunbeds were expensive to hire for the day on the beach. Apart from the that it was a great place to stay.

Cala Galdana is by far the prettiest resort on the island. Its not worth going anywhere else! There are lovely walks around the cliffs to deserted bays, but these can be quite strenuous and not buggy-friendly.

We eat almost every night in the Alaska bar which is underneath the Galdana Garden apartments. They have a meal of the day which is always quite reasonable. The restaurant on the cliff in the bay is not very good, with surly staff.
A few people we heard contracted food poisoning from there (alledgedly!! I dont want to be sued!)

The little train that goes around the resort is lovely and you get to see everything, but it is quite expensive at 6euros each when you are a large family.

The sunbeds on the beach are expensive, too but just buy a lilo and umbrella from the shops by the apartments, not on the beach which are always about 2-3 euros dearer!

Wonderful family friendly resort. No lager louts or rowdy teenagers. You can get a late drink in the Mississippi bar, but everywhere else is shut by 11-12.

The resort was very nice. There were just enough resturants to last the two weeks. By the time we had walked down and eaten and had a stroll we the went back to the hotel. A few playgrounds for kids dotted about and no inflatable pubs/play area to distract the kids which we liked.

Hired a car for 4 days and found it very easy to drive and it didn't take long to get anywhere.
