We had a fantastic week at this hotel,the staff were lovely and friendly. It was very clean and the rooms were a nice size, we had a great view of the beach from our rooms. The food selection and quality were great and we couldn't fault it at all. The entertainment staff, Ramses and Manula were brilliant, they would get you involved in the fun and games. The resort was very quaint and the marina was beautiful with plenty of bars and shops. I would definatly go back to this hotel.

I am always amazed by the way some people can complain about everything so please bear this in mind when reading this review - I am not a moaner!
We have just returned from the Hotel Cala n Bosch and I would like to warn others who may be interested in this hotel.
OK BAD
The hotel has been PART REFURBISHED - we were in a ground floor room which hadn't been refurbished - make sure you specify that you require one of the rooms which has been altered. The room was small and the bathroom was tiny with a rusty, half bath. We were also visited by cockroaches.
The maids did not clean the room adequately. I am not houseproud but I had to clean the dresser and bedside tables myself, along with the bath.
The lounge/bar area has not been refurbished and is dark, depressing, uncomfortable and hot, with no air-conditioning.
The pool area has not been altered and is unattractive with no shaded areas.
The entertainment was poor on some nights and although it was good on others, we couldn't sit in the hot lounge area so went out instead which meant that we couldn't take advantage of all inclusive.
GOOD
The location however, is brilliant, close to the beach and marina.
The dining room is excellent with Manuel (Manager) making sure everyone is seated in record time and the food is also excellent.
The bar staff are excellent and are keen to serve you as quickly as possible.
SUMMARY
We normally holiday in 3* hotels but we both agreed that this hotel has been rated too highly and we would not return to this hotel.

The position is excellent nearly on the beach, The hotel was spotless, food was excellent, the staff was very friendly and efficient. The entertainment staff was brilliant and made everyone welcome they was marvellous with children. My family and I would go to this hotel again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cala'n Bosch Hotel. Our room was lovely, The bathroom was newly refurbished and situated overlooking the pool, beach and sea. Our air conditioning also worked v well.

The food was excellent, there was always plenty of choice and the staff had regular theme dinners and were always on hand if any assistance was required. The only downside was a limited choice for younger children. Our five year old survived off chips it seemed, although she is a fusspot at the best of times. Everything was kept spotlessly clean throughout the hotel. I dont recall seeing any litter, wasps or flies all fortnight.

The hotel is in a prime location next to the beach and only a 5 minute walk from the marina, which is the main part of the resort. Everyone heads down to the marina in the evenings for a leisurely stroll. Half the guests in this hotel are Italians and half are English, we never found this a problem as everyone seemed to get along very well.

Whilst we were there on the 15 August the entertainment team arranged an Olympics day and tried to entice everyone to participate. It was a very hot day and games were played on the beach facing the hotel from 11am until 5pm. This was to be folowed by an evening beach party and parot show again on the beach. The entertainment team worked very hard to provide something special but unfortunetly nothing went to plan. The evening beach party was not the best idea they came up with, hats off to them though, 100% for effort and enthusiasm.

In resort there is a Goody Goody park for the kids this was great. The waterpark although expensive (45 euros for us) we found it a great day out. It is quite small compared to Majorcan parks but was spot on for us and our 5 year old. It also would suit older children as there are 3 large slides to keep them amused.

We found Cala'n Bosch to be a clean, pleasant and safe resort. We were never approached by anyone trying to sell us anything and never vitnessed any unruly or loutish behaviour. We would certainly recommend this hotel and resort to anyone wanting a relaxing, peaceful, child friendly holiday.

Excellent - this is what our party thought about this hotel,as did everyone of the friendly guests that we met over there (including the italians).Food was of a high standard with so much choice for both adults and kids.The pool area was good and is being refurbed for next year.The beach is great and just down a few steps from the pool area although the sea does have jellyfish so beware.The hotel entertainment is fantastic both daytime and nightime and for us made the whole holiday so enjoyable,a big thanks go to Ramses,Luca,giulia,stefan,manuella and danny who entertained the kids and us all day long,worth the price alone just to see how funny they all were.Also big thanks to cally at the pool bar who was again great with the kids and always had a smile on his face.The hotel rooms were ok if a little small with not too much clothes space.As said in previous reports the bathrooms have been refurbed and the rooms as with the rest of the hotel are kept spotless every day.Sunbeds were reserved early but there are now plenty as the broken ones were being renewed while we were there.Im sure I must have missed loads off but it was all good.
I would highly reccomend this hotel to all ,dont be put off by previous reports .

The hotel was in a brilliant location just a few steps from the beach.

The rooms were cleaned everyday with great standards.

The staff were all friendly and seemed to remember you.

The entertainment was good.

I would definitely visit the hotel again!

First time ever on an all inclusive holiday and was not sure what to expect.

We stayed for 14 nights and I cannot praise this hotel enough. The food of which there was always a good choice was excellent, plenty to choose from for most tastes.

The staff in the restaurant always replenished the food on the first sign that a particular dish was emptying, so we never found ourselves waiting or missing out on anything.

The hotel itself was very clean and the cleaning staff did a very good job of the rooms, replacing towels linen etc.

We hired a car for the first week but because of the location and hotel facilities we found we really didnt need it too much and were quite happy to remain by the pool.

The beach was so close you could just get up from the lounger go to sea without having to bother to carry any belonging with you, it was almost like the beach was part of the hotel.

The entertainers, well what can I say about these guys, they made our holiday, normally we are not ones for mixing or making friends on holiday but with all the activities on offer you got to know everyone without realising it. I played football for the first time in 20 years and loved it. There was volleyball, water polo and any other game you can think of, and we never felt pushed to take part but we are so pleased we did.

The really nice thing too was mixing with other nationalities, I played football with a team made up of Italians and Spaniards, where else do you get the chance to play international sports. Watch out Beckham...Fantastic...

The hotel is going to have some major work done in the winter months, which having spoke to the manager he said he is very excited about the changes, so yes we have decided we will be going back next year.

Just got back from the hotel Cala N Bosch so thought would add my penny worth!

The location of the hotel is great - right on the beach and 2 mins to the fantastic marina.

Our room was o.k - bit small - we obviously needed a cot for our little lad but they also put in a single bed for no apparent reason..?! First night there put boy to bed and thought would sit on veranda but light didn't work, tried to call reception and although we had a 'phone we didn't have a 'phone point!! On my visit to reception they told me that none of the hotels veranda lights worked and never had! Air con was another thing that didn't work - very hot in room - we were told by our rep that the engineer was due to visit on the day we were leaving!

Another tour company decided to hire fans for their guests - great customer service - our company didn't....

Food excellent - we did eat out a few times but the choice in the restaurant was very good and couldn't be faulted.

Staff seemed friendly enough - we were asked if we wanted to take part in an activity but were never pushed or harassed if we declined.

Entertainment was quite basic in the evening but the team tried as hard as they could.

Another niggle was the sun beds- yes obviously you had people reserving them from the early hours but there were a huge amount of beds that were broken.

I love the resort - we stayed up the road last year and will come back again. Don't think we will stay at this hotel again - just feels too tired - the management need to spend money in what really are basic areas but price was reasonable for the location and all inclusive basis.

We are just back from 2 weeks at this hotel and we were pleasantly surprised after reading some other reviews prior to going.

Our room was on the second floor, it was small but clean and the bathrooms must have been refurbished.

Kids pool excellent for my 2 young ones and very clean.

Food was excellent for an AI hotel with a huge amount of choice.

The location is ideal and the beach was lovely.

The only cons and they were small ones - sunbeds around the pool nearly all broken and the balcony lights didnt work. The air con was OK and when it did break down My Travel rep did provide fans - good service!

All in all we had a great holiday = would go back

Large areas around pool with well stocked poolside bar with very friendly efficient staff.

The hotel was continuously being cleaned ,bathrooms have been updated,reception leads through to main bar with lounge and stage. Due to age of hotel there are a number of pillars in this area that mean views of stage are restricted.Off the lounge is the dining room which offers a wide variety of dishes at all meal times.

Food is available outside the main meal times but restricted access applies close to the main hours of serving.The daytime activities are organised by the very hard working ramesus and his team. All are encouraged to join in but not forced. A number of sunbeds were broken but this had been reported and new ones expected. This hotel is cosmopolitan with a large number of Italians ,Portugese and Spanish.
