Beaches
Not alot for children to do on a night and most of the shops close between 1-5.The water park is a great place to spend a day.
The resort of cala 'n' bosch was a good experience with a variety of things to do .e.g bikes, beach, shops, etc. It was very clean all around and everyone was really friendly. entertainement was one of a kind and couldn't be better. The beach had a variety of things to do .e.g volley-ball, swimming, snorkle-ing and sunbathing, etc. it was very good. I would highly recommend this resort and would definitely go again.
Resort was great. Very busy with plenty of places to eat.
Steak house was our favourite although a bit more expensive than some - 80 to 90 Euros with beer/bottle wine.
The Tapas bar was also really good and only 40 to 5 Euros.

Resort is very clean. Cannot really comment on resort entertainment as we only went for walks as the hotel cala n bosch had all the entertainment going on for us and our daughter. Beach was very clean and busy lovely cove their is a beach bar and shop life guards sea a bit choppy but in september was lovely and warm. We would visit resort again plenty of restaurants, few shops, amusement arcades for the children.
Having seen some of the other resorts we saw when dropping people off, I am very delighted with the resort, although by the end of the 7 days, I was bored.
There isn't much to do for entertainment, so my advice would be to get a cheap rental car, and get around the Island.
If it had not been for the Marina, with its delightful bars and sea views, I would have wanted to have come home early!
OK, here is the restaurant advice. We found friendliness inconsistent. We both speak survival Spanish, and tried.. but they dont take alot of notice. We had some very rude restaurant staff - in particular - stay away from cafe Balear. They put bread rolls on our table, then charged us 3 euro's. We simply asked why, considering we didn't ask for them, and were told nastily, "you English don't give tips", so basically, they charge you 3 euros for tiny rolls as their way of guaranteeing tips.
Now the best places... For breakfasts and general all round drinks/ snack type food "The Britannia" English bar (It kills me to say this, as I am not an English bar type peson), but they do the best breakfasts, and their staff are very friendly.
For excellent food at reasonable prices, "Torro Negro Grill", extensive menu and try the house red. For a premium meal special meal, try the 4 month old "Aquarium". It has a built in aquarium in the back wall, and each table has a goldfish bowl and goldfish! Even a 3 course meal, with wine child meal and child fish toy only cost 108 euros which for the very high standard, was reasonable.
Overall, kids meals... not much choice. Oh, also, you must go on the small train type ride that takes you around the resort.

Very pretty, quiet and friendly resort. Lovely choice of restaurant with spanish singers in the square on a nightly basis which was nice to listen to whilst eating or having a drink. Restaurant covered everyone's tastes from Chicken and Chips etc, seafood dishes, vegetarian food, children's menu's and a good selection of local dishes.
Beach was a small pretty cove with beautiful clear water and plenty of fish to look at whilst swimming!
