Cala 'n Bosch is a very compact but pretty resort with its harbour in the centre. It is suitable for families with young children as it is not too noisy - indeed much of the entertainment is finished by at least midnight ensuring a reasonable night's sleep.
The beach too is very nice, although we only visited it once as it was far too crowded for us.
I would say that this resort would not suit those who enjoy shopping as the choice and variety of shops is extremely limited.

we have stayed in cala n bosch for several years running and find this the best resort om the island.it has a very pretty marina and plenty off nightlife to suite all tastes and ages.the beach is a small cove and is exceptionally clean and safe for children.there are an abundance off restaurants around the harbour ranging from chinese-italian-tapas-seafood and pizzeria.

the resort of calla'n bosch was amazing. their was a lot for every one to do. we went scuba diving with a company arranged by our hotel rep which is the experience of a life time. the nightlife was great for my teenagers as the marina was usy and very safe, also the hotels were close by so it was a short walk hom after dinner. the restaurants were amzing i didt have a bad nights meal in a fortnights holiday! thier were street entertainers early in the evening on some nights for children which was great. the best family resort i have been to. really is for the whole family!

Having been to Cala n Bosch many times I love the place!
Its ideal for families and also couples looking for the relaxing chill out holiday - its centered around a marina - loads of lovely places to eat - have to recommend the Avanti.
We went on a boat trip this year - it was brillant (it was the bigger of the two boats mored up in the marina) on the way back the captain of the boat let all the children have a turn at being in charge of the boat and steering - this was a big hit and made the trip that bit special.
Theres plenty to do in this resort - everyones friendly and theres plenty of shops including a pharmacy and doctors which can come in handy!

If you like a choice of restaurants, strolling, a quieter relaxing holiday but with all facilities GO THERE! The marina area is wonderful if you like to eat out in the evening. It's big enough for choice but compact enough to stroll around. We felt it provided a great backdrop to a drink/meal. Things we would recommend;
1. Go to Cuidadella - ancient Menorcan capital with harbour / cathedral / restaurants etc
2. Eat at Aquarium
3. Take the road train round the resort in the early evening (took it for daughter's sake but actually a great way to see the resort & we caught the sun setting over Majorca - marvellous)
4. Glass bottomed boat - BUT it can get very choppy & don't sit downstars unless you like to breathe petrol fumes.
5. Go up Mount Torro - wonderul views & the peace inside the Monastry / chapel at the top even silenced our 5 year old.
6. Hire a car & see the island.

Cala 'n' Bosch is a lovely little resort surrounding the small harbour. It has plenty of restaurants and bars serving a wide variety of food, we loved 'Fiesta' which was a mexican place and served great fajita's. It's a very family orientated resort, with lots going on for children, particularly younger ones. The beach is clean and very safe, you can walk out into the sea a long way before it stars getting deeper, it does get busy though, considering we were there at the end of May and start of June and it was quite crowded. We would definitely visit this resort again at some point in the future.

Cala n Bosch is a beautful part of Menorca. I was our first holiday to Menorca and we will certainly be try other parts.
The Marina is full of bars shops and resturant and provides you with everything you could need.
The beach, although small, is clean, the water is crystal clear and shelves gently.
We would certainly think about coming back to Cala n Bosch, although we prefer trying new places each year.

The resort has a marina which is surrounded by a few bars and restaurants and also a childrens adventure park "goody Goody" which provides keeps the young children happy (bouncy Castles, Trampolines etc). The main beach is very nice, however there is a smaller beach nearby which is not very suitable form young children as it is rocky.

the resort had plenty of bars and eating places but no entertainment.the beach is small and gets crowded.there are a few nice shops to visit and the bus stop is nearby and cheap . overall a nice setting with the marina.
