Lovely little harbour and enough shops to keep you busy. No noisy clubs.

Locals were really friendly towards our kids.

I recommend this area to everyone I speak to.

The resort was kept incredibly clean with Police patrol evident throughout the day or night. If you want to visit the beach we would suggest the larger beace about 1km away, it is much bigger and warmer, snorkling is a must, although sea shoes would be useful to prevent cuts and scrapes. There is a frequent bus service to Cuitadella and a small train takes you around the resort and drops off at the beaches. There is a glass bottomed boat trip that leaves twice a day but we found this very unreliable able and even when the sun was blazing and the sea was calm, we were told by the captain it was too rough. Restaurants and bars are ample and you can eat in a different one every night should you choose, although we recommend Las Tapas, Bahia, Avanti and Marina.

We loved Cala n Bosch from the picturesque harbour with its many varieties of restuarant to the view from the bridge over the entrance to the harbour. The walks along the cliffs (or the slightly more inland footpath)to other beaches and resorts were interesting and varied. On windy days the waves were spectacular. There is so much to see and do and all ages are catered for. For those who want it there is plenty of English style entertainment and bars. I would recommend this resort to couples and families but could imagine that for couples, a holiday later in the year (Oct) would be more peaceful beneficial.

The resort is great for families, with a lovely marina and lots to do.

The marina has some fantastic bars and restaurants with live music in the evening.

There are two beaches, Cala n'Bosch which is the bigger beach and more child friendly, and Son Xoriguer which is more rocky and is mainly a watersports beach.

There is also a water park in Cala n'Bosch which is in walking distance and is great for the kids.

Resort clean some of the pavements need attention.

Ate around the Marina every night, Husband only ate at the Torra Negro, Steak there excellent, sweets enormous, cocktails brill. Daughter and muself tried others but agreed Torra Negro best (this is personal choice).Enjoyed sitting there all night listening to the musicians playing each night on the bandstand and visitors enjoying dancing in the square. No pressure to move on when you had finished your meal, no rush to pay the bill. Tom's Bar next door, friendly staff and good service, nice to sit and relax, outside.

Take the boat trip out fantastic views of beaches and stop off for an hour and half on deserted beach.

If you like secluded beaches it is worth the hour and half walk to a glorious beach (can't remember its name but well worth visit) be warned though that it is deserted and you will need to take drinking water etc.

Visited Cittadella only 1.50 euros nice change and plenty of shops.

Will definitely be visiting again perhaps next year.

Our first visit to Minorca it is the cleanest place we have visited. There is not realy that much to do except the waterpark and boat trips. The beach was lovely not overly big it's in a cove with lovely blue waters .

Pros:
1. Great marina with plenty of bars and restaurants around. Mostly faimly orientated but also some exclusive ones more suited for couples. All the restaurants we ate in served great food. The steak house and La Fontana have a bandstand area outside with live music every night and all the kids and couples get up to dance...really good fun.
2. Plenty of play areas for kids and also a Goody Goody theme park and aqua park not too far out of town. If your kids are into that kid of thing then this is the resort for you.
3. The resort is large enough to keep you entertained for two weeks but small enough to keep a good family atmosphere and feels very safe. No lager louts at all.
Cons:
1. Bit of a distance from the airport...an hour plus depending on stops. We went for a week and found all the travelling a bit long winded but on balance well worth the extra mile.
2. Beaches are not the best I have ever seen. Son Xoregieur beach is small and fairly rocky but sandy areas and not too crowded. The main beach is crowded and we went in September...in high season it may be a bit too much. However the were both very clean and well maintained.
