Opposite hotel was the marina which was a lovely view from any of the restaurants placed around it. There is a lot of choices to eat from pizza's, Mexican, fish and our all time favourite the Steak House which do a wicked chocolate brownie which we both had every time we ate there!

The beach was only a five minute walk it was small but clean there is also a games room for the children {or adults}called the Goody Goody bar it contains bowling, basketball and air hockey.

All staff are friendly and speak quite good English!!!

Liked the resort very much. The marina - although a bit of hike back when you've had a meal and a few drinks is very pleasant and there are lots of restaurants and bars.

The two beaches are worth the walk - especially the furthest one.

If you've not been to the island before - hire a car or get a boat trip from Cuitadella. There are some fabulous beaches with crystal clear, turquoise sea and white sand to discover.

Although we'd been to Menorca many years ago, we were very pleasantly surprised with the lack of heavily built up areas and the lovely countryside.

Don't be put off by the other reviews - its definitely worth a trip.

We visited Viva Menorca in August with our two children. The hotel was really nice with garden areas all around and the apartments divided in complexes. Our apartment block was just across a quiet road from the pool and main hotel area. Our main problem was having to get up early to reserve a sun bed and umbrella. In the second week the hotel staff started to remove the towels from sun beds which were not being used but it didn't seem to work very well.
Around the marina area there are loads of restaurants all nice but all serving mainly the same food. The Tex Mex was our favourite. There is a main road to walk down to the marina but we preferred to walk along by the sea as it was quieter with hardly any traffic.
The local bus was very useful and cheap and made it easy to visit the nearest town with alot more shops and it just made a nice change in the evening.
The food in the hotel restaurant was really nice, the breakfast was particularly good and at a reasonable price. There is a super market within walking distance which is very good for fresh bread etc. for breakfast and lunch.
The entertainment in the hotel especially in the evenings was not very good, the entertainers did the shows and really we got sick of them by the end of the holiday. The Robbie Williams show was our favourite.
All in all we enjoyed our stay and looking forward to going back.

The resort was lovely and clean and there was plenty to see and do around the marina.

There are lots of shops and stalls to browse around at the marina everyone seemed to be so friendly we met lots of lovely people whilst we enjoyed our stay in Cala n Bosch

One of the highlights of the holiday was the local water park it is well worth a visit and we spent the whole day there. It only took five minutes to get to the park from our hotel, definately a place to visit if you have children they will love it.

This seemed to us to be one of the best places to stay on the Island.

The resort of Cala en Bosch was very nice, mainly consisting of the marina with plenty of bars/restaurants and your typical tourist shops. There was also a waterpark and a go-karting track. We didn't go to the waterpark as we had heard it was more for little ones, but my husband & son (age 13) did go to the go-karting which was about £10 for 10 mins which wasn't too bad, as it was very quiet they did stay on for a bit longer and enjoyed it!
The resort was clean but walking down some of the quieter roads there did seem to be a lot of dog mess, but on the main stretches there was very little rubbish around.
The beach was about a 15 minute walk but was lovely, there was plenty of space and little rocky areas(with sand too) you could sunbathe on. There are sunbeds to hire and peddle boats and several restaurants around aswell. The water was very clear and marked out for safety.
I would recommend this resort and did enjoy our time there.
