The resort itself is very nice, with a lovely walk along the promenade next to the small port entrance. The shops and restaurants along the harbourside are well worth a visit.

Ciudadela is still great walking through the city streets exploring and finding new places to look at. The whole city can be explored on foot, look out for the churches down the little alleys some are very beautiful inside and nice and cool for a sit down. The castle opposite the hotel is worth a visit with an audio visual show about the history of island and is free.

Cuitadella was really clean. The harbour is lovely and we enjoyed watching the variety of yachts and boats that came in every day. There is a small selection of shops and a variety of harbour-front restaurants to try. We even caught part of an outdoor concert on our first night there.
The local beach is tiny but clean, and has a lifeguard. If you are all inclusive, you can get a courtesy bus to a larger beach a short distance away if required.
I would definitely visit Cuitadella again. We hired a car for part of the week and visited other resorts on the island - it was always a relief to arrive back in Cuitadella - the other resorts were a bit too 'Little Britain meets Blackpool' for us, catering mainly for British holidaymakers with English pubs and fish and chip shops - if we'd wanted that, we could have gone to the coast in the UK! Cuitadella was great for a relaxing holiday to get away from it all, while still appreciating what Menorca has to offer.

The resort itself was ok it had a few shops and a really nice market. However because it was a good 20 minute walk to the centre from the hotel we only went once because having two small children it was a bit too far for them really. We didn't go to the beach however, some people we met up with did and said it was ok. We didn't experience any entertainment in the resort beacuse being all inclusive we had plenty to see at our hotel.

We loved Ciudadela as it wasn't "bouncy castle city". It was clean and quiet with breathtaking views of the bay over the rocks.
The town square was lovely with a very traditional feel. The childen's play area was a lovely touch and never too busy. There are just enough shops set in cobbled streets and market day on Friday and Saturdays adds a nice bit of bustle. Didn't get all the way down to the harbour but it looked very pleasent and some of the boats coming around the bay in front of our hotel were amazing.
We didn't visit the samll beach but it looked o.k. If you are not a real beach fanatic and just want to spend a couple of hours by the water.
All in all we loved it and will definitely be returning.

Ciutadella is a fantastic place to visit if you want to get away from the usual trampolines, bouncy castles etc. The streets and houses are really pretty and the harbour lined with restaurants is beautiful and relaxing. We stayed in June during the Fiesta and the whole atmosphere is fantastic. If you want a beach then Ciutadella is not the right place for you although it is really easy to hope on a bus and calan bosch is only 15 minute bus ride away for a lovely beach. 2nd visit and would still love to come back again

I have holidayed on Menorca four times now and find the whole island a dream scape, from the blue secluded beaches to the busy towns.
A car is a must to get around and make the most of this island there is so much to see.
All the beaches are very good and one in particular, Turquarta Beach, is like a desert island scene, you must realise that nudity on beaches is not allowed but still goes on on many beaches so do not be surprised.
The entertainment was low key except for the modern flamenco dancers who were supberb. Yes I will be going back again to the same island at the same hotel and hopefully the same room.

This resort is a typically Menorcean town, full of narrow streets with small bars and shops. There are a few squares, where sitting and people watching is good, especially as there are a lot of locals who frequent the bars too.
The cathedral is worth a visit, but please gents wear a shirt, unlike the man we saw topless in the aisle, taking a video!
I was embarassed to be English at that point.

The resort is fantastic. It is completely uncommercialised and unspoilt. If you want a typically Menorcan holiday with no souvenir shops and looky looky men then this is definitely the place to go.
