A quiet secluded beach in a little cove, with a bar. No escape for the kids. Just perfect for me.

The resort of Sa Caleta suited us beautifully. It is a quiet residential area, which means that it is quiet after 1 a.m., with no really loud clubs near by. The houses in the area are beautiful with lovely gardens and flowers, meaning that the whole area is very pretty. For people looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday it is ideal. There are a couple of local bars and restaurants, which are nice and where the locals are very friendly, but nothing wild, for those looking for a hectic night life. The beach is within walking distance, and while it is not particularly beautiful to look at, all the locals use it, so I feel it can't be bad. There are a couple of small bars/restaurants on the beach, which are ideal for a lunch time snack and cold drinks. The is a fabulous restaurant on the edge of the beach - Sa Quadra, which I would highly recommend to anyone with fabulous selection of food and totally kid friendly - with movies on each night for the kids while Mam and Dad can relax have a glass of vino and finish their meal. We are all looking forward to going back again this year.

Sa Caleta is a small area with not much to do except for visiting the beach. There are a few shops and restaurants nearby, however, there is no nightlife which is superb for people wanting a quiet and relaxing holiday! Often we would walk to restaurants like Sa Nacra and Sa Quadra along the sea cliffs which would take about 15 minutes.
Sa caleta is very clean and the scenery is beautiful! The beach is small, but still clean, with pedelos and sun beds. We tended to travel to other beaches such as Cala Morrell, which is fantastic for snorkelling.
We have vistied Sa Caleta 6 times now and are re-visiting the area this year!

The Resort of Sa Caleta is perfect for those of you wanting a relaxing holiday or for those of you with children. Its clean and uncomplicated. Theres some lovely little restaurants 'sa quadra' is a must.
Its close by to cuitadella the old capital which is absolutely great in May when they have their fiesta ad its also close to cala blanca and caln bosch - where there are some fab restaurants inc a steak house and its all situated around a little harbour - beautiful.

quiet and mainly residential(lovely houses). Clean with a lovely beach. Wouldn't recommend any of the local resteraunts(all 3 of them!)
Sa Caleta very nice but very quiet. Could do with a few more bars/restaurants so that people can get a wider choice. Beach was lovely. In walking distance of Ciutadella and Santandria.
Sa Caleta is a very small resort, a few shops and restaurants. Entertainment is mostly centred around hotels and apartments. All the restaurants cater for children and there is a good selection of childrens meals from chicken nuggets, pizza and fish fingers.
The resort is only 5 mins on local bus from old capital with its harbour and restaurants. There are more shops here to choose from. The harbour area is buzzing on a evening with stalls selling local goods, jewellely, leather bags, paintings etc.
We would recomend this resort to families with young children.
