Great hotel our second year returning, fantastic food, friendly staff and great facilities.
I would recommend this hotel again and again, as I have never visited the same hotel twice I was a little apprehensive but we had a great holiday.

We have a 4 year old and she loved it and as I have never visited the same hotel twice I was a little apprehensive but we has a great holiday.

Recently returned from our 2nd visit to San Valentine in Son Bou.
Still as good as the first time.
An excellent hotel for a family holiday with first class facilities.
Staff could not do enough for us and are very friendly.
Food is very good - plenty variety including a kids section - head waiter Paco recognised us from our previous visit with a bottle of bubbly on our first night- a nice touch!!!
Whilst a little out of the village up the hill the hotel bus runs every half hour to the beach though the the children spent most days around the pool.
Entertainment team worked hard both during the day and at night with great shows most nights and plenty of day time fun.
Resort is not big but has enough shops - bars etc .
Car hire is easy from the hotel to get out and about to see the sights of this lovely island.
We found exploring ourselves much better than the "packaged tours" and much better value for money.
Many people return each year and I can see why.
A great two weeks and we will be back for sure.

Excellent hotel. Excellent apartments. Very high standards maintained always. Food is excellent, staff superb, especially the entertainment team, the kids will miss you all, thankyou! Location is fine, I liked that we were a wee bit out of the throng. Regular bus service kept you in touch with town if necessary!

this is our 2nd time at this hotel and was even better than our first time. Hotel staff remembered us from the previous year, which was very nice. the food was faultless as there was so much choice and always hot, and the service was excellent. Hotel staff so friendly and couldnt do enough to help. the pool area had been updated with new furniture this year. pool always clean as was the whole hotel. would reccommend this hotel to families and couples alike. beach a short hill walk away! but well worth the walk as the beach is the best on the island.if you dont want to walk you can always get the free bus.hopefully we'll be back for our 3rd visit nxt year. cant imagine not ever going there again! CANT WAIT!!

On top of a very steep hill but the hotel run a courtesy bus every thirty minutes to and from the hotel to the beach.
Food was lovely but the deserts do run out quickly and are not refilled but good selection for all ,and chicken nuggets & pizza for the children which was a savouror.
Staff all very friendly and reception talk extremely good english.
mostly english visitors ,just a few itailian and germans!!But sunbed towel hugging is not allowed around the pool!!
Childrens club was ok for younger children but older children do get bored.
Pool was fantastic , clean and large.
we stayed in the apartments which were clean and large with satelite tv.
All round was a fab holiday but would recommend car hire to visit the island.

My husband would return to this hotel again and again. We first visited in 2002 and like others who have been more than once, we were also recognised on our 2nd visit and given champagne the first evening. A lovely gesture! On our first visit in 2002 we were on the south side of hotel with no complaints at all, beautiful view of sea and pool area. On our second visit we were on north side facing road. View not a problem but lack of sun in the room was. We had damp sheets and pillowcases for the whole week, I kept thinking I was imagining things but had a very painful stiff neck by end of holiday (If I had any brains I would have told the excellent reception staff!) However I braved the damp, assuming that the beds were not airing because they had no sun on them during the daytime.
Food absolutely brill, choices for everyone. Staff are adorable, the most friendly we have ever met.

The only thing that would possibly put me off returning is the location. The steep hill not a problem but Son Bou town itself looking rather tired compared to others parts of Menorca. Go ahead and book but ask for a room with sea view!!!!

1st time we stayed at this hotel. staff were very friendly and the food was wonderful, but maybe after the 2nd week a bit repetative. set on a steep hill but it kept you fit everyday. beach is fantastic, very clean and great for families, with golden sands.lots of entertainment. my daughter is 13 and they had a fantastic club for her age and she made many friends.we never saw her for 2 wks!as soon as we came back we booked again within the 1st week. everyone we met on holiday are all going back at the same time, and we are counting the days until we go again. cant wait!

Just returned to San Valentin for the 7th time, absolutely fantastic can't wait for next year.
The apartments are basic but very clean the staff are so
helpful.
Entertainment staff brilliant nothing is too much trouble for anybody.
We are definitely going to book again next year and the year after some say we may be sad to keep going back but we enjoy the place so much it will take a lot of beating. We still meet up with families year after year, we recognize each other so that must say something... see you all next year.

Excellent hotel, have stayed here five times. The bedrooms are the largest on the island! try and get a seaview room on high floor, superb views.
The hotel staff are most helpful, the Restaurant Manager always there to greet you, he always remembers us, and we have a bottle of wine, compliments of hotel on first night. Restaurant food very good, plenty of choice.
The swimming pool is lovely, large terraces and plenty of sunbeds. Also have an indoor swimming pool. There is a card room, shop, car rental office, and an adult quiet bar/lounge. The entertainment takes place in the big lounge/bar each evening. Also lots of activities going on throughout the day.
The hotel is situated at the top of VERY steep hill, but the hotel bus will take you to and from Son Bou, but sadly service ends very early evening. I would really recommend car hire, an excellent local car rental office down in Son Bou, offers good rates, and very obliging.
