Take an extra card with a magnetic strip on it. place it in the slot where your key card goes so as you can leave air con and fan on whilst you are out.

Beaches

Our friends who we came with went to the beach which was about a 10-15 minute walk, they said how lovely it was but you had to watch the waves if you had small children. Also don't forget the beach is also for nudists (to my daughters disgust!)

Been to Jandia 3 times and it never changes.A quiet resort with a few shops and a great beach.

Shopping – The Centre at the bottom of the hill near the beach is largely empty although it does have a Mango and a Douglas (perfumes etc). A larger tourist shopping area is about 15 minutes walk from the hotel and the very Spanish resort of Morro Jable is a good 45 minutes walk away.
Beach – Magnificent yellow sand that goes on for miles but beware you will see some exhibitionists wearing only a smile !!

The "resort" is really only a collection of hotels and you have to travel 5 kms or so to the Big Town which is Jandia. But Butihondo which is the area where all these hotels are is quiet, well-kept, attractive. The hotels are all on the beach which is very fine. There are scores of beach chairs, two good beach bars, lots of bare bodies, and the sun shines. What more do you want.

Jandia is basically a beach resort with quite a few shops along the main road, not a place to go if you're a nightclubber.

resort cleanliness was okay,
the bus to morre jable costs 2 euro there and back to hotel which runs every half hour.
resort entertainment you need a car to visit any entertainment outside the hotel, but that defeats the reason why you are there on an all inclusive holiday. the drag night out was expensive and it was near the airport.
the beach was lovely except for the people who wanted to show you all their bits, they commandeared all the beach as well as the nudist beach, and if you walked by they would ask if you would take a foto of them with their camera.
i would visit the resort again but in a different area.

As stated the Hotel is miles away from any centre so the resort is the hotel.
Lots of space, sun beds, good pools etc.
Beach is sandy and clean. Esquinzo Beach is noted as a Naturist Beach so you will see nakedness if you venture down to the beach. Saying this if you go into the hotel saura or steam room there is a good chance you will have a naked German or Dutchman in there with you.
Take a few monkey nuts if you do go to the beach as the chipmunks will come and take them out of your hand.

Jandia is a huge resort with one of the best and longest stretches of beach anywhere in the world. Our hotel was at Esquinoz, right at the eastern end of the resort. The beach here is perfect, although you have to be very aware of high and low tides, which can be found out prior to departure on the sunnyfuerteventura website. At high tide there can be very little room to be found on the beach in certain bays and you can find yourself stranded for at least two hours until the tide turns. The bay to the left of the Sunrise Club Paraiso Playa is superb. Largely naturist, it is sheltered from the normally strong winds by a headland. Be aware when swimming that there can be rocks underfoot which the strong tide can easily drag you on to. There are many 'houses' to be had for the early arrivals. These are rocks and stones which have been built up and offer protection against the wind and sun. The walk in to Jandia takes an hour along the beach and is a great walk. Jandia town itself can be a bit tacky, but it depends on what you want. There are many good places to eat and drink as well as shop, but also one or two slot machine arcades. Best advice though is to be certain which part of town your accommodation is situated, or you could be in for a long walk to find your amenities.

There isn't an actual resort of Jandia which is the name of the whole of the South West section of the Island, however it is accepted that the resort of Jandia is the expanse of hotels, restaurants and bars just before you reach the old town of Morro Jable. The area is geared up for the German tourists and you are more likely to hear German spoken and written than Spanish. There Is entertainment but for those wanting Playas Las Americas they will be disappointed. For those wanting magnificent beaches you will be in heaven.
It is easy to walk into Morro Jable which has a more authentic Canarian feel and a commercial harbour with some tourist type boat trips.

the resort itself was lovely.
didnt go far as only one british bar in the whole of jandia,(the boot and ball) which was brilliant.
the beach was clean and well kept, there were nudists on the beach which can be a bit of an eyeopener if you're not expecting it, lots of elderly people mostly with all their bits out!!!
