We only had one complaint while we were there and that was the lack of any air conditoning. They do have ceiling fans but all they did was waft the warm air about. We ended up sleeping with the bedroom patio door open.
Try the Cordial Hamburger its very tasty.
We went on one excursion to Las Palmas, enjoyed the day but later found out we could have done it ourselves on the local buses for a fraction of the cost, speak to reception if you want info on buses and numbers, all the reception staff are good and will help in any way they can.
No entertainment in the hotel, so could be a little too quiet on an evening.

At the moment the restaurant isn't open but you can go into the hotel and use their resturant if you are half board (or you can pay extra) where you are spoilt for choice.
Also due to not being very busy and newly opened the entertainment for adults isn't very popular but you are allowed to go into hotel next door where they are meant to have good entertainment.
I certainly can't wait until i can go back.

The hotel is a strange design and you will get lost on your first few days, the reception area and main bar is very impressive.
Our room was just about big enough for two but it had no view from the balcony so it spoiled our evening dink. We felt because we had been moved that we had got the poorer location.
The main restaurant was busy, with a varied selection of food, however it was all utterly tasteless no matter what we had. After the first night we used the nearby restaurants. I am not sure how previous reviews claim the food to be excellent because it wasn't.
The pools are nice but are spoiled by the German 6am bed brigade and can get very busy and impersonal at times.
There is a large supermarket across the road and a decent Indian restaurant. The main centre is a 10 minute walk and is very laid back with a good few nice bars/restaurants. The best ones where the Irish bar facing the harbour, and a littel Italian restaurant in the square nearby. There is also a eat as much as you can chinese restaurant near the beach which is great value.
On the whole for the price we paid can't really grumble but had I spent

We were at the hotel when they opened, and we couldn't resist having a look at the apartments. Bliss.
Kitchen - fully equipped (kettle, toaster, coffee machine, fridge, stove and oven, dining table with 4 chairs) cutlery and dishes, don’t know about pots as I didn't dig in all the cupboards. Living room - 1 extendable sofa with a coffee table and TV, if I remember right there are 2 armed chairs. Bathroom - nice and spacious with shower/tub, there is also a hair dryer. Bedroom - 2 double beds pushed together, 2 huge wardrobes. Balcony - there is a shower with a small shower tub, just in case you don't feel like going to the pool or beach, 2 sunbeds, 1 table and 4 chairs.
The sun lights the apartments all day long, but you don't have to worry, we been to see them in the middle of the day and it wasn't hot. You have ventilators but I think if you open the windows in bedroom and living room then will cool faster, but I doubt the apartments will heat up.
There are also apartments for elderly or disabled people, at the ground floor. The bathrooms are equipped with walk-in shower and fitted with a chair, everywhere is easy access for disabled.
The restaurant is not open yet, we were told it will open in about 5 months, but no worries. If you have food included, you will be served at the hotel's restaurant which is just next door and the food is brilliant.
Across the street you have a big supermarket called Dino, you find absolutely all you need in it, mind you some things are a bit expensive (potatoes 4.50/2 kilos).
Are a few other supermarkets in the port, won't be hard to find them, they are posted. There’s also a Spar.
Just near Dino, towards the corner of the Shopping Centre, if you go downstairs it's a lovely bar called EL ENCUENTRO. Manolo, the owner is a top guy. If you want a nice breakfast, the best coffee, a cold beer and a lovely Pepito, then visit him, he's very friendly and welcoming. Also, he's got Happy Hours. Between 16:00-17:00 and between 21:00 and 22:00, buy 1 get 1 free. For the spirits the amount is never measured and always more than generous.
For a good meal, go to "Cofradia Pescadores", it's in the harbour towards the light house. You can't miss it as you'll pass by it. We had local fish and we can say was the best fish we had in a very long time.
Have a lovely time, we did and we will return :o)

This Hotel is perfect. Spotless , the staff cannot do enough for you. They always have a smile on their faces and make you feel welcome.
The food we couldn't fault. If you couldn't find anything to eat out of the large choice you had you must be very fussy.
The entertainment was O.K the normal dancers ,abba tribute ,balancing acts etc.
All set in there own lovely tiered entertainment room
There were two groups that played almost every night.
The one was very good 2 men and a women the other O.K.
The modern flamenco show and the 4 tops tribute I loved.
The only thing I didn't like about Hotel is that they have a sort of grave beach around the pools , this is sharp and uncomfortable, it sticks to you when you get out of the water. I can't see the point of it.
But the thick matresses on the sun beds made up for it.And the pool water is warm.
The spa is beautiful ,very warm water with jets and spa beds a steam room and sauna, showers toilets and hairdryers in there. All included.
You pay extra for treatments.
There was Tennis , table tennis ,pool, tenpin bowling a small gym even target shooting going on.
Our room was ground floor.
nicely furnished, the only problem was the T.V had only news channels in English. BBC World, CNN ,Euro News and 1 sports channel Euro sport.
This didn't bother us much as we didn't want to watch much t.v on holiday but it does say sat T.V in the rooms, a bit missleading.
The T.V as a built in DVD player.
But the machine you hire the DVD's from at the Hotel was broken.
There is a DVD hire shop in Mogan I noticed.
If you have Children and teenagers with you you may need them.
Location great a short flat walk to the harbour took about 10 mins.
There is a new shopping centre built opposite the Hotel .
Only a few of the units are being used at the moment but when it's full it will be very good.
There is a supermarket ,a few assorted shops and a couple of small bars and the best indian resurant.
A hair dressers , phone boxes toilets and parking.
Would I stay at this Hotel again, you bet I would I loved it.
