This hotel was truly magnificent. As soon as we walked through the reception doors and saw the fountains, the marble, just the general ambiance of the place, we knew we had made a good choice.

The food was spot on, with a variety of different dishes to suite all tastes and the chef did different "show cooking" every mealtime. My only grumble I guess is that there isn't a specific childrens menu with such things like fish fingers/nuggets/ etc as there were alot of younger children there. (Mine are teenagers and eat just about anything)

The location is good in that it is right next to the sea front and there are magnificent views but the resort itself is very quiet and the beach is rather untidy looking and in need of upgrading of some sort. There is a bus service so you can get to more livelier resorts but it is very popular and it is first come first served (free bus) taxi's are cheap and there is a bus stop down at the end of the road, buses run regularly to Maspalomas, Puerto Rico and Puerto Mogan.

Entertainment was ok, usual sort of hotel stuff, some good and some abit cheesy.

Lifts are just a nightmare. There are three, but sometimes it is quicker to walk (ok going down but when you try to walk up the stairs and you are on the 7th floor, you only do it once!)

I would definitely go back, and in fact we are planning a two weeker later this year, October/November time.

We have recently returned from this hotel and had a fabulous holiday.

The location is not too good but the hotel provides tansportation to other locations. The food is fantastic, plentiful and variable and all drinks are on tap in the restaurant.

The staff are very friendly and efficient and drinks were served very promptly at the bar. We are certainly thinking of going again as it is a really restful holiday and the sunshine for this time of the year was wonderful.

This was a lovely hotel and we would definitely go back!!

Our room had great views overlooking the pool and sea. It was cleaned everyday and the towels were made into swans on our bed when we arrived!

All the staff were really friendly and could not do enough for you. There is no waiter service in the bars or restaurant (the restaurant is self-service) but we never had any trouble getting a drink.

Each night in the restaurant there was a different 'theme' (Mexican, Chinese, Italian, Spanish etc) together with 3 or 4 other main dishes and a carvery so there was always plenty to eat! There were 3 different sorts of homemade smoothies at breakfast as well!

We were up most days about 8.30 and had no trouble getting a sun bed, although I imagine this could be different in the height of summer! The pool area is lovely (one of the pools was heated whilst we were there) and it is really nice to sunbathe and see the sea.

Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Hotel Taurito Princess is a real Gem! We are so glad we found this place! We have now been 4 times and each time we have met 'friends' that we've made on previous visits! That alone speaks volumes for the place.

Rooms are spacious clean and have spectacular views
Food is by far the best that we've ever had and we have traveled alot.Im a really fusy eater and believe me I always eat well at Taurito!

Entertainment is great - You can do as much or as little as you want.Archery, Boules, skittles, shooting waterpolo. A great kids club for the young ones and great acts at night time -Look out for David (entertainment) and Ivon 2 great people who'll ensure you are well looked after and they really try to make your Holiday special!

Bar staff are great always helpfull
Restaurant staff are also fantastic and all brilliant with the kids. The Manager Manuel is an ABSOLUTE STAR AND I guarntee he'll remember your name!

Were going back twice this year-See you there!!

Stayed in the Taurito Princess hotel was very nice great views great balconies.

Staff freindly but some a bit off putting. Entertainment not bad if you could see it. Too many pillows in the room maid service each day very clean, towels changed daily and one you can use at the pool.

Food we thought was very good. Hair dryers in room. Fridge or mini bar charghed a returnable deposit for safe plenty of sun loungers loads of room lifts open glass ones you can see out from. Would go back

There were 4 of us (2 couples) staying at the Taurito Princess for a weeks holiday in June 2005.

The hotel was lovely, with amazing views. We were on the 11th floor overlooking the pool and the sea, it was beautiful. The food at the hotel was lovely with quite a varity to choose from.

Each evening there was a particualar food theme and always something for everyone.

Hotel entertainment was ok, probably more suited to familys rather than us as 'young' couples but still, it was only a short taxi ride to the great night life in Purto Rico. The staff at the resort were really friendly and helpful.

The Pool was great, and a really nice size. There were plenty of sunbeds too.

This hotel no longer a Princess hotel and all standards have dropped drastically.

The food was the worst we have had on holiday. Dirty tables in bar area which we had to clear in the evening for us to sit down for drinks.

Hotel entertainment very poor.

For all inclusive water was served by the cup not bottles!

Food was very repetitive and dessert table very poor choices.

the hotel i stayed in was a very nice, clean hotel. the all inclusive part was pretty slow service and we had to wait about 5 miniuts sometimes for a drink.
i didnt think too much of the food as there wasn't much to choose from. most of the food was catered for the spanish and itallian, there wasnt much catered for english visitors.
the location of the hotel wasn't too bad although you had to pay for a taxi everywhere you went. there were a few shops and a swimming pool, with a few slides that you had to pay a small amount to get into, nearby. but the other well known places were from 5 miniuts to 1 hour away, depending on where you are going.
the hotel staff were pretty helpfull and entertaining, but some were not all that friendly to the english.
if the food changed and there was more for english and the service was quicker then i would definately go back! as it was a brillaint holiday for the family!

Just back from a week at the Princess. Beautiful hotel with great rooms (suites!) and wonderful sea views. The hotel was half empty because of supposedly building works but there was very little disturbance.
Food was generally good although perhaps a little lacking in imagination at dinner. The dining room had no atmosphere at night and the poolside restaurant where you could eat at lunchtime was much nicer. The staff were excellent and friendly. The pools were great although perhaps a bit too small but there is an enormous lido in the resort with 5 adjoining swimming pools which you can enter for a small charge.
Entertainment at night a bit uninspiring
For a peaceful holiday in lovely surroundings this cannot be beat and we will go again

A lovely 4 star hotel set in a quiet area of Taurito down by the sea.
The food was excellent with a wide choice to cater for all tastes. Wine and beer + soft drinks available.
The rooms were large enough to accomodate 2 people comfortably and were kept clean.
The nightly entertainment was fairly hum drum. Theres a large piano bar downstairs and Emilio plays piano and sax there every night from 8 - midnight except Monday. Up the stairs in the Suite there is a show on from 10 - 11pm and this can vary from acrobatics/magic to show dancing.Theres also a kiddies disco from 20:30 - 21:00 every night.
The only disappointment was that there was no place to walk round in the evenings. There are no shops to speak of apart from the hotel units and the roads are narrow with heavy traffic so walking there is not advised.
The staff were friendly and the majority were keen to assist.
The beach was close by but the sand was blackish and not very inviting. There is ample scope to scuba dive and numerous boat trips including a submarine trip from Port Mogan (3-4 Km by road) The local bus service is good and very cheap. There are plenty excursions available from the hotel rep including a free blanket trip ( worth while - not time share! ) Overall a good Hotel and worth a look. If anyone has any further questions send me an email and I will answer individual queries as best I can. Alex.
