Nothing too much of a problem for the staff (our safe wouldn't work but it was all sorted without any fuss very quickly).
The layout of the whole complex was great-with 3 pools no one was treading on each others toes and their were enough sun beds that you could move from pool to pool and always find somewhere to relax.
In fact this hotel enviroment was very relaxing considering its size. The food was good but possibly too repeditive if staying for more than a week although the choice of food was enormous.
The evening entertainment was also the best we have come across in all our years of holidaying abroad. The only drawback to this was that the bar service was very slow-on most nights only two people were serving at any one moment.
The only other drawback was that to visit the marina area you have to negotiate a very steep hill, but it is worth the effort especially if you need to regain your energy in the Irish bar!

The hotel was spotlessly clean with lots of staff cleaning tending to gardens and pool area. food could have been slightly better as regards to choice especially evening meal but always found something to eat.
The rooms were lovely and modern and maid service every day doing an excellent job. Swimming pools were lovely but cold. not much around the hotel just the marina down the hill with some shops and restuarants, but all inclusive package you dont need alot regarding food and drink.
Entertainment at night was ok but thought could be improved on and the bar staff were slow on times serving you as previously stated on other report.
Oerall a lovely modern hotel with great facilities and spotlessly clean.
Hope this helps if you plan to visit this hotel.

The credit card style of All Inclusive makes it easy to order drinks and food no wrist band sshowing how much sun tan you've not got on your wrist .Food good if not spectacular .
I'm a bit fussy but always found something to eat , which you could do for most of the day if you wanted to .The hotel location is brilliant if you are not bothered about a beach on your doorstep, the gardens made up for this .Swimming pools great even though the salt water one was a bit cold at first.
After a couple of days they were great to cool down in .
The staff were probably some of the most polite I have ever met our waiter and room maid especially. I have noticed some comments knocking the entertainment, OK it was a bit holiday camp but I have seen and paid for a lot worse, and at least there was something on every night.
I would definitely go back again and recommend it to my friends.

Everything was first class. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a nice relaxing break and we will definitely be going back next year.

The food was very nice (one of the first holidays abroad ever that I have not suffered!) and there was a wide variety of choices every evening. Breakfast was typical of Lanzarote hotels, I recommend the poppy seed rolls whilst Meg suggests that you eat it all!
The measures of whisky were so large, the bar can only be described as perfect!!
There are several pools at the hotel and a spa (which Meg won free access too during the daily bingo session!)She used two of the several pools, her favourite one was salt and although a little cold she spent most days swimming in it.
The hotel is based in Puerto Calero, which if you are after a quiet and relaxing holiday, is the perfect location.
The staff at the hotel are extremely helpful and many fluent in a variety of languages.
The entertainment was fine, my daughter thoroughly enjoyed every evening, and as mentioned, after two or three visits to the bar, so did I!
We will definitely be going back to this hotel.

The resort is quiet, about 2km from Puerto Carmen where the nearest beach is. This wasn't a problem for us, as there is a free bus service to the beach and there is a marina near the hotel, just at the bottom of a small hill.
The hotel staff went out of their way to help us, as we have a disabled daughter who uses a wheelchair, and we had no problems in taking her anywhere. The kids club and evening entertainment was excellent, something you don't often come across, from Chinese Acobats, Magic shows and even the Lion King show in which they get all the kids involved. Everyone had a great time, and I didn't hear a single complaint from anyone we met.
There are 4 pools, one is heated (still a little on the cold side for the wife) and enough sunbeds for the whole island. There is also a Spa in the hotel, although this is an extra 13 euros each for entry. One word of warning here - although the Spa is excellent, the "heated pool" is actually salt water so not suitable for children. You float about in it rather than swim.
I would thoroughly recommed this hotel for both young families and older people. If you want somewhere quiet and relaxing this is it. Im sure we will head back in the summer, as finding hotels of this quality at 4* rating is hard to do.

Weather was pretty good for Nov. and the activities of preparation for Xmas were well under way when we left in Dec.
The design and furnishings of this hotel were obviously well thought out. Rooms and storage were brilliant (maids were very artistic with their towel sculptures). All staff were extremely friendly and made our holiday very enjoyable.
Excellent taxi service into Puerto del Carmen (but glad to get back to the peace and serenity of the hotel). The marina was great for a leisurely stroll with a few shops (good perfume shop). Animation team were on the go consistantly but were never loud and in your face...
Saw some excellent shows, tributes to Abba, Drifters etc.
Never fought for seats and drinks were always well served (very strong). Will definately go back to this hotel soon.

The standard of cleanliness is second to none. The food is lovely (yes it is slightly repetitive in the second week but then ALL hotels are like that).
We couldn't understand what people expect, some meals came out the next day from dinner to lunch but then wouldn't you expect that considering how much food would be wasted if it wasn't! It was always piping hot and we never had any complaints!
The staff are lovely. Make an effort to speak to them in their own language, it does help and is always a good laugh if you are as bad as we are!
The entertainment was a bit dire a couple of nights but we enjoyed ourselves nonetheless, even if it was to have a good laugh at the badness (??) of it! At other times it was excellent!
The entertainment staff work tirelessly and constantly throughout the day and evening to entertain everyone. We were trying to work out where they get their energy from considering the hours they work. Our room was excellent and the view from the balcony was amazing, we had been expecting a sea view room and got a side sea view but were not disappointed.
We could see the sea, the volcanoes and Fuerterventura on a clear day! Heaven. The pools and surrounding areas are spotless. We are usually beach people but as there is no beach in Calero we spent all the time round the pool with no complaints whatsoever!
There is a bus to Puerto Del Carmen but we didn't particularly like it there so only went once. The bus goes three times a day I think! All in all I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. It is excellent!

You should have no complaints about the All-Inclusive as everything is so well prepared you can even get bottled San Miguel and bottles of wine or jugs of sangria from any of the bars
The only complaint we would have would be the quality of the entertainment which is pretty dire at times, most people just accept this and get on with making the most of their evenings
A few good tips would be
* You do not need beach towels as these are provided
* Taxi to and from the airport is 15 euro each way but book early on the day of departure as they are hard to secure
* The marina next to this hotel is very small with just a few bars and does not offer much in the way of evening entertainment
* Taxi to Puert-del-Carmen is about 5 - 7 euro
* You do not need to join the dawn chorus to secure sunbeds as there are plenty to go around.
* The health spa is fantastic ask about weekly offers before booking and paying for a day visit
I hope you enjoy the hotel and make as many new friends as we did on our visit
BestRegards

We had 2 double rooms with terraces, we even had our own sunbeds in front of our patio! Opted for the All Inclusive option which was worth every penny, the food was good and varied, no queues for food or drinks. The drinks were waiter served (if you wanted) always with nuts, a nice touch I thought.
The hotel, pools and surrounding areas were spotless as were the bedrooms. I think Iberostar have got it right at this hotel with what I would call 'selective' All Inclusive - no 24hr drinking and eating, which was certainly enough for us! I still managed more than several sangria's at lunch-time etc...
A week was enough for us - I now need to diet for at least a year! A thoroughly enjoyable holiday.
