Location
Apartment was spotless and well equipped, ironing board a nice touch (no iron though) we didn't have a microwave either which I can only assume depends on the apartment you stay in but we did have a kettle and toaster. Lots of cutlery and plates/glasses etc. We did have a terrible ant problem in the kitchen though which despite reporting twice nothing was done.
Bathroom was large and the shower really powerful, but only 2 mirror lights in there so it was case of touch and feel whilst in the shower as it was very dark !
The bedroom was large and had plenty of wardrobe space, the only gripe was the fact it was crying out for a dressing table of some sort, there was a mirror and sockets but nowhere to put anything. We moved the coffee table from the lounge in their and it sat perfectly for what we needed. Be aware if you get a room facing the street though, the windows are terribly fitted and the noise factor is really bad as there's always noise 24-7 due to the large Spar shop next door but one.
We did eat in the pool bar on one occasion and it was very pleasant but a very small building for the amount of people and we didn't go back. The pool area is clean as are the gardens etc. The pool was freezing at this time of year and I mean take your breath away cold. The only gripe was the arrangement of the sunbeds, it looks as though they've not thought this through too well as it was a maze of crammed in sunbeds for the space they've left. We only used the area a couple of times as we prefered the beach.
The apartments are more or less split into two levels with 2 pools and 2 pool bars, there are lots of apartments....lower level reception end and then the higher level which you need to clomb lots of stairs to get to.
I think theyre missing a trick by not having a proper bar area, with the amount of people staying here they could get a really busy bar going with a good atmosphere, despite bars nearby there were lots of familys staying who probably would have appreciated being able to stay on the complex some evenings.
Staff were friendly and the maid service good.
No entertainent of any kind unless you count 2 pool tables and a football table by the pool area.
I would stay here again but would ensure I requested a room away from the main street.

1.They are spotless, you could have eaten off the floor they were so clean.
2. Very well equipped, full oven and even an ironing board.
3. Good sized rooms with sat TV and sky movies - free.
4. Staff that are very, very helpful and speak perfect English.
5. Beautiful environment outside with lots of plants in a well kept landscape.
6. A short stroll to the main strip.
I would recommend these and will be returning.
If you go I recommend The Barge Inn which is run by Ged from Wigan with lots to entertain..deal or no deal..bingo and he creates a good atmosphere.
No on site entertainment but so much to do In Puerto del Carmen anyway.

Excellent place to stay for the week. Beautiful views from a south-facing balcony which caught the sun all day.
Staff all really helpful & cleaners regular & thorough. Modern apartments inside & out, even anew microwave!
Lovely location for the resort & beaches. Back there next year.

Spacious rooms and had microwave, toaster ,kettle and two hotplates in kitchen area plus good sized fridge. Shop next door had great hot baguettes every morning or you could heat them yourself in shop.
Pool area was good in fact there were two pools and kiddies pool/the second pool being on another level and it was very quiet up there.
Location was great. Couple of minutes and you are on the main strret. Pool cafe was basic but good, full English for 3 euros, staff brilliant.
No entertainment but didnt matter, because if you just wanted to chill out there were no music blasting.
Would certainly return to this hotel, safe for kids too.

We had an apartment in the lower section which is the best choice if you don't like climbing loads of steps! The staff were very friendly - especially the cleaning staff.
There is no evening entertainment which was perfect for us, plus the resort centre is just a 5 minute walk away.
There is a bar by the pool which serves great ice cold beer. The apartments may be basic but standards are high and location - fantastic, so we would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a good holiday but doesn't want to pay too much.

They even folded my pyjamas in the shape of a fan on my bed! The facilities in the room where well equipt. And the restaurant/snack bar was delicious and very fast serving.
I would definitely return as we really enjoyed our holiday and could relax! Which is what a holiday is all about.
Also the location couldn't of been better as a short walk and your in the resort centre.

The apartments are indeed 5 minutes walk away from the main street.
All hotel staff were pleasant and friendly.
No problem with no entertainment as the main street where you'll find everything you could possivly want is so close.

Location great - very close to main drag, with loads of shops and restaurants. Lack of entertainment on site was a bonus for us as we wanted to 'get away from it all'.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
We'd certainly return here, although a double bed would have been nice.

Apartments are spotless and the location is superb.
Staff are very friendly and we have requested the same apartment every year and have staff have managed to accommodate within reason most years.

The apartments were basically furnished with the usual settee, table and four chairs and TV in the lounge. The kitchen at the end of the lounge comprised units along one wall with a two ring ceramic hob and the surprising thing was that there was a toaster and a kettle, something that wasn't there for the first visit. There were two single beds, a large wardrobe, a dressing table, chair and two bedside cabinets. I don't know if it applied to all apartments but there were adaptors in the sockets which meant I didn't have to use ours. There was a safe in the wardrobe as well as an ironing board. The deposit for the safe was (I think I remember correctly) 25 euros with just over 12 euros back at the end of the stay.
The top level is reached by at least ten flights of steps from the street and it would be a real struggle for anyone with heavy cases. As we had a car, we found out that there is a back entrance to the apartments and luckily it was very close to ours, this meant that we drove round the back and only had a short flight of steps to go up instead of something like ten flights. (Our apartments were 106A and 107A) We had a key for the gate from reception and were able to park just outside the gate.
One tip about the steps for anyone in a top floor apartment on the upper level - instead of going up past the restaurant and skirting the pool we found it much easier to go up the first five (could be six) flights of steps then turn right just before the restaurant and go round the corner and up just one more flight of steps which was much easier on the legs. The restaurant by the way has never been seen open, either at our first visit or our second so perhaps it never opens - who knows?
The gardens are lovely and well looked after, with some large palm trees, a couple of which were right outside our balcony, nice to look at but very noisy in the high winds that we had a few times. The views are fantastic and we were glad we had those to look at instead of just another apartment on the other side. Although we couldn't see the beach we could watch the cruise ships coming and going into Arrecife and also see the planes coming in.
Another thing to note for anyone with a car is that the road that the apartments are in - Pedro Barba - has been made one way, going from the apartments down towards the sea. This meant that we had to drive around the side roads until we found one that would get us in the right direction for parking outside the main entrance, although we didn't need to do it once we knew about the back entrance.
The apartments are only a short walk from the main street with all the shops and restaurants but are far enough away for there to be hardly any noise from surrounding bars etc. Of course, there are problems for people with walking difficulties but they would benefit from the ground floor accommodation, although some have no view at all and are also very insecure with no privacy as people would be walking past at all hours. There is a lockable luggage room which was very helpful with a noon checkout time and an 8.20pm flight.
I would thoroughly recommend these apartments.
