We stayed in the Barcarola Club last November. The Apt complex is quite big and divided into lots of different sections. Bit confusing at first but soon got used to it. We were at the very back of the complex and could just make out the pool through the trees.
I think the apt was the biggest we have ever stayed in. There was plenty of wardrobe space for me & my boyfriend, mainly me! There was a big dressing table too. The bathroom was very big, but the sink area was quite small, but no complaints really.
The kitchen didnt have a kettle but we heard another guest ask for one so we did too. The gurl on reception grunted at us but she gave me one anyway.
All the rest of the staff were very nice.
We never eat at the BClub as we were out every evening. Since the weather was poor, yes even in Lanzarote, we must have had only 4-5 hours of sunshine for the whole week. But we still made the most of it.
It was 15 min walk to the Centro Commercial, but we didnt mind it at all. Matagorda is really nice and I always enjoyed the walk up to the centre.
There are loads of restaurnts to choose from. The Spar was only 5min walk from the Apt. I dont know if there was any entertainment in the Apt, we didnt see any. The night security was good.
The gate was locked when we got back but you just ring the bell and the security come out. They were always very nice and polite, suppose we were quiet so they didnt mind.
The cleaning staff were in every day except one day I think? They were very nice.. since the weather was poor we were not in a hurry to get up, so I think when they saw the curtin in the bedroom closed they didnt come in.
We did see the cleaner peek in the window one day and she saw a bit more than she bargined for but most days they called in and if you didnt want them to stay they went away till later. T

My sister and I stayed at the Hotel this year in March. The accommodation was very clean, bedding and linen changes almost every day. The only slight complaint was the lack of equiptment in the apartment.
There was no kettle, very few glasses or crockery, no iron. Everything else was really first class, and we would definitely return.
