This was the third time we have been to these bungalows in the last 4years. l am disabled and l could cope very well.
Everywhere lovely and clean staff were excellent nothing was any trouble at all they always had time for us.
We never went to the entertainment had a taxi to Puerto Carmen most night which was ordered for us by the staff, it wasn't because l am disabled they did it for anyone

I was a little worried about staying at the Hyde Park Apartment having read some of the bad reviews, but was pleasantly surprised. The apartment we had was first class and very clean. I think the golden rule when staying at these apartments is to ask for a first floor room (away from reception) as they tend to get the sun. The ground floor rooms are nice but don't get the sun as much.
We have stayed at P del C a number of times before this, but found the location of these apartments better. They are within easy walking distance to the beach. The apartments are on an incline but all the pavements are in order, which is not always the case in Puerto del Carmen. The swimming pool was small and I imagine would get very busy in summer. Entertainment at night at the apartments was very basic, but friendly. We found some superb restaurants all excellently priced at the end of Playa de Pocillos beach. The Old Town is great at night with a good atmosphere and a park for kids. There are a lot of upmarket fish restaurants and a number also serve up chicken/steak and chips etc., We made a rule to only eat/drink in Spanish bars as these were always clean, which was not always the case with English/Irish bars.

These bungalows were very basic but nice and clean we were self catering but found the pool bar resturant lovely and staff friendly.
The hotel is only a 10 mins walk from the beach so good for young ones as not to far. We wouldn't go back to these bungalows but thats only because we found them to small and no entertainment for us or kids .
