We own timeshare units at the Harbour Club and have visited twice a year for the past five years.
We think the Club is in an excellent position very central to the village and a short walk to the Harbour.
Our unit is in the first phase in the main part of the Club (beware if you stay in Phase II as most of the units are up a steep set of steps and not all have a view). Ours has a fantastic view looking onto the walkway to Crab Island and brilliant views of the sunset going down over Gomera.
They are very large units with large balconies where you will find sunloungers and chairs/table.
The Club has had a complete refurbishment over the last two years and the rooms are decorated to a high standard with nice kitchens (although the bathrooms still require some work!).
On our last visit the pool was being re-done and there was talk of installing a jacuzzi. The pool bar was being moved over and this would improve the view you get when sitting taking a drink looking over the pool area. You get a full view of Gomera as mentioned and I can't think of anywhere else in the village that you can sit with a drink and get an unterrupted view of the sea and island.
The carvery in the club is to die for and we have been known to partake on a Sunday and a Wednesday. The staff were very obliging and would do anything to help. They even let my teenage daughter take her carvery meal to our unit as she wanted to watch the football on the TV! I should mention that, on our last visit, they were changing the management of the pool bar area and the girls were quite upset because they were not sure of their jobs. A pity because they were very friendly.
I am going out again in February for two weeks and am looking forward to it already.
I would recommend to anyone.
