Loads of places to eat and some great bars, we love the Irish bars at the top of the road at Porto colon.
It’s only a quick taxi ride to Playa, try Wigan Pier, and then the Dubliner

Tenerife, always improving but as with any resort you have to know where to go and what to avoid.

The main resort centre near to this hotel is the area of Fanabe it is about a 10 minute walk along the beach. They have a number of shops across the front on the town and around 4 or 5 main streets again with shops. The shops stay open till quite late so you can do some shopping after dinner if you like. There is a medium choice of restaurants most with staff trying to coax you in which is typical of spain but there is plenty of choice and a wide variaty. The town has a big market on a Thursday morning which was good fun lots of choice nothing spectacular but good fun haggling with the stores well recommended
Costa Adeje seems to now incorporate what was known as the Torviscas area. As such it is quite large and can be deceiving therefore I would suggest you read the reports and location of other hotels for a more central location if required.
However it does offer some excellent pubs and bars with a variety of entertainmenet for adults and kids. It is pleasantly quieter then the centre of neighbouring Veronicas area which can be somewhat rowdy at peak times of the year yet, still has great appeal, although not for those looking for loud clubs and pubs.

Beach nearest the hotel has a tiny bit of sand otherwise it is pebbly and very steep. Better to walk to the excellent 5 star beach a few hundred metres away at Playa del Duque which has clean white sand and some lovely bistros or beyond to the black sand at Fanabe or Torviscas which are a bit further to walk along the promenade. A short walk in the other direction there is golden sand at La Caleta and a pleasant beach bar.
Those looking for nightlife and shopping will be disappointed it is a very quiet area with just a few local shops and restaurants.
