I agree with most of the positive comments from previous reviews. We enjoyed our stay at the Reveron Plaza very much.
The rooftop pool was great - always managed to find loungers and a parasol.
Breakfast was okay; glad that we didn't book half board because there are so many good restaurants on the doorstep.
Room was fab - very clean & spacious. Nice decor.
However, there were a couple of things which were disappointing:
1.Our room was on the 3rd floor, right above the main entrance. On arrival we opened up the patio doors onto the balcony to discover that our view was of a huge black hole where a building had once stood.
If you decide to stay at Reveron Plaza be sure to ask for a room which overlooks the church.
2. Our balcony was not private at all - the next room's balcony was divided from ours only by a wrought iron railing.

Having spent the last 3 consecutive Easter's in Los Cristianos, this hotel was far superior than the Arona Gran/Mare Nostrum for pure friendliness and overall comfort.
The hotel is very conveniently situated for centre/beach and all facitilites. The rooms are were spacious and superbly decorated. The whole ambience of the hotel was awsome.
Welcome drink upon arrival, chilled fruit served to you round the rooftop pool deck during the day, what more could you ask for. Tbe breakfast was good quality and ample, plenty of fruit/cereals/selection of cheese/meats for the health conscious and a hot 'fry up' for the hangover sufferers. Overall, fantastic 4 nights, we would NOT stay anywhere else now in Los Cris.

For the past 14 years my wife and I have visited the Los Cristianos area in January each year. We normally choose self catering accommodation, but this year, having inspected the Reveron Plaza on a previous occasion, we decided to give it a try. We required B&B accommodation, but had to book half board with Airtours because that was all they offered.
We were not disappointed. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
The hotel itself was spotlessly clean and the staff very helpful. Well situated for the large variety of excellent restaurants in the town centre.
Our room was clean, comfortable and well furnished, with excellent background sterio music.
The food at breakfast time was excellent - good choice of hot and cold foods, although sometimes it was a little cool, but that's Spain for you. There are lots of hot foods in their country that is not served piping hot. We had a full English breakfast every morning and were well satisfied.
The food at dinner, in my opinion, needed to be improved. The choice was excellent. Always had white meat, fish, pasta and red meat courses with good soups and deserts, but whatever I chose it was always bland and tasteless. I endured four evening meals in their restaurant choosing turkey, two fish meals and entrecote steak as my main courses. Each was tasteless. The steak did have a bernaise sauce with it, but the meat was tasteless without the sauce. Eventually I said 'No More' and we dined out at the local restaurants as we had done for the previous 14 years.
I must say that my wife did not agree with my opinion of the hotel dinner choices. We never had the same main course and she said she always enjoyed her meal, but I didn't dare subject her to a lie detector test. I think she liked the hotel so much that she thought that I was thinking along the lines of never returning. Not so, we plan to return there again next year and I have no reservations about that.
Just two notes of caution. One concerns your room key card. Don't place it alongside anything else you carry that contains a magnetic information strip. I had mine in the same shirt pocket as the local 'Bono' bus pass and I was forever having difficulty getting our room door to open, even after Miguel, the helpful maintenance guy, changed the lock on our door. Once the bus pass was placed in a different pocket the problem never arose again.
The only other problem we had concerned the lift breaking down. There were 5 people in the lift, 4 were potential candidates for 'Fat Club' and the other was the darling 'Ana', the dining room waitress. She rapidly issued a stream of instructions over the lift telephone and we were released about 15 mins later. By that time the temperature in the lift had risen considerably. So if you are joining the lift with others (or they are already in) you need to do a rapid assessment of the likely weight of all the occupants. There is a guidance plate on the inside of the lift which said something like max 8 persons, 860 kg - I think?. I would have thought the 5 of us were within that, but !!!!!!!
Happy holidays to all who use the Reveron Plaza.

A small traditional Spanish hotel. Well decorated throughout & the rooms were of a very good standard - spotless.
Excellent location, only a few minutes walk from the centre resort & quiet too.
A lovely restaurant overlooking the harbour. Very civilised. Breakfast was buffet style, both continental & English. Evening meal - buffet choice for starters & desert. Waiter service al-la-carte for the main meal. A choice of 4 meals & the menu changed every night. Traditional Spanish cuisine. They served boiled potatoes often with the main meal which could be a bit boring. Other than that the food was excellent.
The pool area was very nice too - comfy sunbeds & free use of pool towels (

Having read the previous reviews I was worried about staying at the Reveron Plaza as we had already booked. However we were pleasantly surprised. We have been to Tenerife before so knew our way around. This hotel is very centrally located. It overlooks the main square and church, and all bars, restaurants etc are really only a short walk around the corner.
Being a bit of a fussy eater I was worried about the food. When we stayed for a fornight in July it was buffet style. However, another British guest told us that the week prior to us arriving, it was waiter service and food not very good at all. They complained. On a whole the food not that bad at all just cold. As it is only a small hotel there are not many guests. Evening meal was from 7.30PM - 10.00PM and if no-one went to dinner until 8.30PM then the food just sat there and went cold. Plenty of choice though. At least 3 different meats each night. Also fish dishes, salad etc. Lovely desserts! On a whole very Spanish orientated food. However we did have chips one night. The menu was roated on a weekly basis.
Breakfast was served between 7.30AM - 10.00AM and there was again plenty of choice. Bacon, eggs, tomatoes etc. Also continental bfreakfast and cereal.
The pool was lovely and quiet the first week as the hotel was not full. The second week though was different as more people were arriving and too many people putting towels on sun beds and not using them all day. This means that genuine sunbathers have to go to the beach which is very expensive at about

Located in centre of Los Cristianos, a small friendly hotel, the staff were excellent. Everything was kept very clean. Food very Spanish orientated, no burgers or chips etc. Waiter service in small restaurant, four courses to choose from.. breakfast a bit strange. If you had the English choice, bacon and eggs -you also got lettuce and carrot! Always served with a smile and always fresh. Never came away hungry! Rooms air-conditioned so you could keep the outside noise out by keeping windows and doors closed. Towels changed every day, sheets every other day. No entertainment provided and no gardens. Roof top pool nice and quiet and always spare sun beds. Sparse on parasols though. You could ring for snacks and drinks to be brought to you, charged to your bill. During our ten days there were no children in hotel. No noise in hotel during night and breakfast served until 10 so you could lie in. A very pleasant hotel.

7 day holiday - arrived at 3.30 am Sat, to find a very large cockroach crawling under the pillow. Moved rooms twice more and still ended up a 5pm with no lights/air con. 7.30 woken up by concierge with a pest aerosol (very little in it). We were offered yet another room but decided we didn't want another move.
However when opening the balcony door discovered a black hole (construction site) and a small tree lined walkway haven for junkies and drunks.
However reception staff were on the whole very helpful and the hotel decor was excellent. Roof top pool was good apart from the many pigeons drinking the water!
It was on the 5th floor and so when the lift was put out of service for two days it was quite a trek.
Food was diabolical. Waiter service. 4 choices of each course. Two menus rotated every two days. Avoid the Canarian evening. No entertainment in hotel for the week.
Friday night before leaving (3.30) in the morning we were refused anything to eat. The waiter was quite rude, and said we had had cold meats when we had arrived, which counted as our first day of half board. (could that have been the cockroach?)
We left and proceeded to reception to pay our bill for extras, only to find we had been charged for 2 extra bottles of wine (more expensive than any other hotel we had visited). Later we found that because of our complaints other guests catching the same flight as us, had been given a meal.
If it hadn't been for the other hotel residents the stay would have been a total disaster.

We have stopped at this hotel on several occasions. It is a 44-room Spanish hotel. The service is 5-star, as is the cleanliness. We have stopped on previous occasions on a half-board basis, but, as previous posts have intimated, the evening meal is somewhat lacking. The location is excellent, you are straight out to the bars and restaurants that are within easy walking distance. There is a taxi rank outside the hotel and bus station just a short walk away.
It is not suitable for children or people who wish to be entertained in their hotel. The pool area is more than adequate and gives good views across the harbour and the centre of Los Cristianos.
We are booked again for October 04.
If you require English-style cuisine, don't go to this hotel, it's Canarian. Don't go if you want karaoke. Don't go if you want Bingo. This is a sensible hotel, they don't have it!
