Upgrade to superior room, Higher up and therefore quieter, much larger. Don't keep your key card anywhere near a mobile phone as it can strip the information from the card which I found out to my cost as I was on the 13th floor.

The people at book it now were brilliant at getting my request done which was sea view and large terrace
Tips for others going request at the beginning a sea view as we did this and had a lovely one.

Were in this apartment B-302. Well equipped and comfortable, buna guidance afternoon sun on the terrace overlooking one of the pools and the beach.
There are luxury apartments but they are quiet and comfortable, with plenty of light.

Been to the south many times, great resort.

We stayed in Los Cristianos but we would not stay there again as it was to 'hilly' for my Mother who is 75. One word of advice: Do not eat at Fados, down by the beach where all the work is going on. Our Meal was vile and had it not been for my Mother & Daughter begging me to pay and not make a 'scene' I would have refused to pay!

Did not venture out much but what we saw was clean and attractive , good market on a Sunday and all the local bars shops were very friendly, local Spar shop 2 mins from hotel to buy newspapers, wine , water etc

We loved Los Cristianos, there was a lot of work going on to improve the prom & town centre which is very promising in my opinion. Lots of choice for places to eat, drink or watch entertainment, a nice beach, a very friendly feel to the resort, very clean, my little boy was happy given the amount of amusement arcades on offer, crazy golf & just a short trip from the airport.
A big plus is how accessible the resort is for disabled visitors, there are dropped kerbs everywhere, some of them are a little steep but its got to be better than nothing, there are electric scooters for hire in the resort and I noticed lots of wheelchair users enjoying a hassle free holiday in the sun. I work for a local Council & will be recomending this resort to my colleagues who use wheel chairs.

Los Christianos is a good town, few too many rubbish entertainers, but a few really lovely restaurants, and some really good value ones too.
Mostly very clean town and beach. Great atmosphere on festival nights too.

My boyfriend and I really liked Los Cristianos. Both beaches (Los Cristianos and Playa las Vistas) were nice, although we preferred Playa las Vistas as it was the larger of the two. Competitive cafes/bars run along the back of Playa las Vistas, with beers at 1 euro (Taylors Family Bar). We were also amazed and impressed how the resort had been made accessible to the less mobile.
As mentioned in earlier posts, there are lots of waiters trying to entice you into their restaurant of an evening, which becomes very annoying! We managed to make it to lunch one day without being caught by anyone, which was a record. Reassuringly, there was a lot of police presence on the resort, using various modes of transport.
We would highly recommend ‘The Original Bistro’. The food is amazing with most of it being homemade; we ended up going there 3 times in the end. Admittedly it is tucked away so may be a little challenge to find. Although with your back to Los Cristianos beach, facing Burger King, proceed up the side street that is to the left of BK. Take the next side street to your left and you ought to be there. The specials board changes most days and although it may not be the cheapest restaurant you certainly get what you pay for. It really is worth the adventure to find.
We used Resort Hoppa for transfers, which was £13.50 each (return), very reasonable and effortless. Airport ok, although food & drink expensive (a bottle ok coke was 3 euros!)
On the whole, great resort.

Lovely restaurants along beach front and a number of restaurants above the main shopping centre.

There are some good bars and places to eat as mentioned in other comments. Yes Porkies does a nice brekkie for €3.50 but we tried Squires which has recently been taken over and loved it. Angus Steakhouse does a lovely steak diane and porterhouse. Take a look at Tony as Elvis at Springers bar, he is funny but good.
The beach is 15 mins walk which isnt far but feels longer coming back when your hot and tired.
I would go back, everyone is so friendly.

Nice area, many good bars and restaurants, quieter than Los Americas, probably more suited to older couples/families.
