Upgrade to superior room, Higher up and therefore quieter, much larger. Don't keep your key card anywhere near a mobile phone as it can strip the information from the card which I found out to my cost as I was on the 13th floor.

The people at book it now were brilliant at getting my request done which was sea view and large terrace
Tips for others going request at the beginning a sea view as we did this and had a lovely one.

Were in this apartment B-302. Well equipped and comfortable, buna guidance afternoon sun on the terrace overlooking one of the pools and the beach.
There are luxury apartments but they are quiet and comfortable, with plenty of light.

LC is undergoing extensive drainage repairs. As it has expanded so has the plethora of restuarants and "get em ins". Although the food is wide and varied. At long last it seems the British Cafe is dying out there "Hooray".
The beach is still very scrubby but in a few years time it will all have changed.
There are regular Police Patrols, and very few Time Share Sharks. Although street crime theft from women is increasing.

Need never eat or drink in same place twice, food and entertainment to suit most tastes, beech good but waves can take you by suprise.
Medieval night looks pricy but well worth a look. Plenty of whale & dolphin trips available on harbour side a lot cheaper, near by jungle park well worth a day, also aqualand with excellent dolphin show. Free bus to both, but at time of visit more people waiting than seats available, plenty of taxis available about 8 euros to aqualand.

Los Cristianos is a lovely resort with lots of restaurants and bars. The resort was spotless the only thing which we found annoying was people approaching us constantly with leaflets to eat and drink in their bars.It is a hilly resort so it is not suitable for the elderly or people with walking disabilities. The local people are very friendly. There are lots of shops to browse for perfume, shoes, handbags etc.You will be approached regulary by the African people trying to sell you sunglasses and the chinese ladies with cheap toys!

I found the complex dirty and with no entertainment very boring. However, we did spend as much time as possible at the beach and had a great time outside the complex.

We do recommended to eat along the sea front as there are different types of restaurants to eat from. You will also get a fantstic view of the habour and the sun setting as well.
The only downside of going down to eat at the evening is that there a lot of 'lookie-lookie men' as my over half call them, trying to sell sunglasses or jellewerey that are apparently 'cheap as chips'!!!! You will get people advising you to look at their menu but thats just them being friendly and trying to run their buisness. But they're not too pushy.
Theres a local market on sundays that is open from 9am to 2pm which is just at the bottom of the hill from the hotel. There is also very cheap bar/restaurant that is open all day called 'Charly's' which we do recommend.
There is plenty of boat trips that are being advertised near the harbour. We went on one and saw some dolphins and pilot whales which was really good.
There are lots of trips you can go to, we recommend Mount Teide at night, although the price is a bit dear it is well worth it as you pay for your evening meal, with wine and you see the fantastic view of the sun set over the clouds with a glass of champagne. When it gets dark you have a special talk from an astronomer which talks through all the stars and what all the arrangements and constilations of the stars are, well recommended.
Aquapark is better for groups and families with children but you have to pay for everything including the rubber rings for some of the rides.
There are other trips including Loro Parque which has a killer whale, dolphin and sea lion show. Theres also a jungle zoo and many more trips to choose from.
Hope you enjoy tenerife as we certainly would go there again.

Los Cristianos centre was beautiful. It had two beaches, although Playa de las Vistas was our favourite which had great watersports. The beach had plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas you could hire for a reasonable price.
There were lots of great bars and restaurants although the entertainment is low key compared to its neighbour Las Americas. This is only a short walk or taxi ride away, but we found it more expensive than Los Cristianos.
The resort is fantastic for couples and families and although most of its visitors are British tourists, it has retained some of its Spanish/Canarian charm.

Couldn't fault beaches, very clean with plenty of watersports, people with youngsters need to watch beach near watersports as it gets deep quickly due to steepish slope.
It was a pleasant change not to get pestered to go into the bars.
There was quite a lot of digging work happening on the front but didnt really cause a problem

Los Cristianos is great for families and the local people are extremely courteous. Most bars or restaurants close at 12 midnight. I can recommend the Irish Times for live music and a late drink until 2am. You can find many bars offering a pint of lager for 1 euro and shorts with mixers for 2 euros.
For the sporting man, I recommend Churchills bar were you can bet in bar on all UK racing and sporting events via in house bookies with live TV. You can expect to be approched by the street sellers although their not really pushy. The promenade takes you right into Las Americas with plenty to see and is doused with cheap bars and restaurants along the way. Some excellent designer shops can be found in Las Americas and for the ladies, there is a Mango clearance outlet.. sorry lads.
The beach adjoining Cristianos and Americas is expecially nice. McDonalds and Burger King are also in town incase you need to break the monotomy.

Had a fantastic holiday here! Beach was superb (although the sand did stain my bikini!) Everywhere was clean and I did not see any dog mess as mentioned in other reports.
There were a lot of "Looky looky" men but these did not bother us as you could have a laugh with them sometimes, and they would leave witha polite "No thankyou."
We were lucky not to be bothered by any timeshare touts as we are under 25, however I did see other poor couples being hounded by them- one old couple were even chased!
There were many lovely bars and restaraunts to choose from and some great entertainment!
