Upgrade to superior room, Higher up and therefore quieter, much larger. Don't keep your key card anywhere near a mobile phone as it can strip the information from the card which I found out to my cost as I was on the 13th floor.

The people at book it now were brilliant at getting my request done which was sea view and large terrace
Tips for others going request at the beginning a sea view as we did this and had a lovely one.

Were in this apartment B-302. Well equipped and comfortable, buna guidance afternoon sun on the terrace overlooking one of the pools and the beach.
There are luxury apartments but they are quiet and comfortable, with plenty of light.

The hotel is in a quieter part of Los Cristianos where everything shuts down around ten/ten thirty. From our location we were able to walk around the coastal promenade to Playa De Las Americas in about half an hour with two small kids, and would then get a taxi back for about 5 Euros.
I can't rate the resort highly enough. For families looking for a busy resort with something for everyone then Los Cristianos/Las Americas has it all. The shopping is great and the coastal walk is wonderful for small kids as its traffic free.
Lots of "bling bling" men and "Excuse me. Braid for the baby" women along the coastal path but the most persistent must be the women with the kids toys - light-up toys and yapping dogs. Keep showing them to the kids until you've said no at least five times firmly.
We'll definitely return to the resort in the next year or so. We stayed for a fortnight and still didn't manage to see it all.

Los Cristianos has plenty of bars, restaurants and shops and is only a couple minutes walk from the hotel. However, it is not the liveliest resort. Please be warned there are loads of people trying to catch you out with scratch cards for "holiday clubs". Be polite, but walk away. If you want somewhere a bit more lively need to go to Costa Adeje/Torviscas. We found travelling round the island easier by taxi and the cost varied from 6-9 euros to Adeje. However, you can ask at reception and they will call a taxi for you. At Adeje you can do all sorts of water sports and boat trips, would recommend Bob Diving but you need to do this 3-4 days before you fly home.
There are Spanish bars/restaurants that the locals use, and if you find these you can eat and drink for next to nothing.

The surrounding area has had a lot of work and there are many new bars and restuarants, there is a taxi rank opposite the appartments. The beach is about 15 mins walk where you will find crazy golf, trampolines, water sports and the usual bars, cafes and restaurants. There is also a new shopping mall due to be opened shortly and the golf course is close by. Local taxi rides cost about 3-5 euros. This resort and appartments have taken a battering with the reviews, but we had a good holiday and feel that in time this place will be lovely again. Yes I would definitely return, the weather was fantastic, our pool had sun all day long, which made for a lovely restful break.

Lots of places to be entertained in, we liked the Irish times bar and Churchills in particular. Further toward Las Americas there were many different places to visit although we found enough going on in close proximaty to the Comodoro which meant we didnt have too far to totter home. Intend to go again hopefully

Los Christanos is a really nice resort to stay in especially round the hotel. There is a corner shop yards away and the beach is about a half an hour walk away so it isn't bad really.

We loved Los Cristianos! We are both in our early twenties, but are not really into the nightclubs and parties offered in Playa de las Americas next door. Los Cristianos is a great alternative as it has a much more relaxed atmosphere.
However there is still plenty to do and Playa is only 2/3km away if you need it! It is only about 20 minutes transfer time from the airport and the resort looks spectacular as you travel down through the hills. The beaches are great, although I would recommend the larger Playa las Vistas beach rather than the one in the harbour area, as the latter tends to be a bit noisier due to boats and ferries.
One thing we were amazed by is the amount of nice restaraunts on offer. There is a wide selection covering almost every type of food you can think of. If you are on a self-catering holiday (we were half-board) you would be spoilt for choice.
Being a man, I'm not thrilled by the prospect of going shopping, but I really enjoyed the market which is held every Sunday by the Arona Gran Hotel. There is also a lagre shopping centre where you can buy all your designer names. F
or Brits, there are plenty of British bars particualy along the Playa las Vistas beach area. However if you prefer to sample the local culture, there are plenty of other bars to choose from. The local people were very friendly and most spoke English very well.
Overall we would highly recommend Los Cristianos, especially those of you who like to go on holiday to relax!

Having been to this resort for over 20 years I have seen changes and all for the better. Major sewer works at moment making slight disruption but nonetheless all for the better long term.
If anyone knows of the BISTRO let me tell you Barry and Mike have now moved from there original location. They are now situated up by CHURCHILLS near to the underground car park, opposite the Reveron Plaza.

Los Christiano is mint. Not too noisy.
Beaches are best on the island.
The bars are not too bad, pretty cheap.
Only down points are the lucky lucky lads mivering while you are trying to eat.
All in all a mint place to be.

Nice walk down to the beach and restaurants.Do try the Olive Tree,BIG portions of fresh food. Some litter on the beach, mostly fags stubbbed out in the sand.
Beware of scratchcard people mostly bris asking you to go to collect a prize.
You get a 2 hour speech followed by a 10,000 pound request to buy a holiday for life!!Apart from them, superb place. Do go and see Teide while you are there.
