Upgrade to superior room, Higher up and therefore quieter, much larger. Don't keep your key card anywhere near a mobile phone as it can strip the information from the card which I found out to my cost as I was on the 13th floor.

Tips for others going request at the beginning a sea view as we did this and had a lovely one.
The people at book it now were brilliant at getting my request done which was sea view and large terrace

Were in this apartment B-302. Well equipped and comfortable, buna guidance afternoon sun on the terrace overlooking one of the pools and the beach.
There are luxury apartments but they are quiet and comfortable, with plenty of light.

Ate out in many different places in resort, El Cisne(The Swan) was good as usual, as was the Steak House in the Apolo Centre. Not a bad meal all holiday.
Los Cristianos is in need of a huge revamp. Work is ongoing, but it really does look tired and scruffy. They need to really shift themselves and get it done. Still a nice resort though.
We used the beach by the harbour, and apart from tatty sun umbrellas, a lovely beach.
Trips to Loro Parque, Las Aguilas, and a Dolphin-spotting boat trip were all lovely days out, with the ultimate high spot being my 2-yr old being picked to take part in the Dolphin show in Loro Parque!! She got to stroke the dolphins and get pulled around in a boat by them, lucky little thing!!

You are constantly hassled by walking down the street and on several occasions the taxi drivers tried charging us nearly double what it said on the meter.

Los Cristianos is lovely harboured resort. Beach is black sand, walk further around nearer Las Americas and secord beach is beautiful! Plenty of resruants to eat and drink in. As well as a few fast food joints. Shops a bit touristy for my liking, bit better in Las A. Entertainment Plenty of bars, but with a buggy not as welcoming..We will probably visit this resort again, but feel it is more suited to older children in a family.

Still a lot of building work being done although this never interfered or spoiled our holiday in the least. Liked the fact you could stay in Los Christianos which was quieter or go into Las Americas if you wanted a bit more action. Will definitely return here in the near future.

We stayed in los christianos and I would not go again.
I had 2 children 4 and 9 and found nothing to entertain them at all. All we could find was restaurants, karaoke and singer impersonators.
We could find no discos that children could go into later (after 11pm). My son got very good at pool as that’s all we could find for him!! All the bars are very spread out and so you would have to do a lot of walking about to visit then all.
The main beach is darker sand but it looks in to a harbour and you are swimming in boat fumes!! Abit further on was golden sands beach which was a lot nicer, worth the extra few steps.
May be the resort may be better in the height of the season but I will not be going to find out!!!

The area was ok although there was a lot of dog mess under the trees. The entertainment was rubbish...every bar we visited was karaoke and quiz. We was told that children was not allowed in pubs after 11pm. We have never come across this when we have been away before.

The entertainment in some of the bars was very enjoyable, especially the Bluebell.
The beach was clean. But some of the meals were quite pricey.

The resort at times did have dog fouling on the sidewalks and at night there were lots of cockroaches running around after a few days you got used to them The entertainment in the resort was 1st class with many live acts in the various bars and the food in the restaurants was great,I never had a bad meal while I was there.
The beach was beautiful altough the sunbeds and parasols were a bit expensive at 3 euros per item, that was 12 euros a day for us as a family. A word of warning occasionally big waves hit the beach and catch people out therefore a lot of people and their belongings get wet,as they are sunbathing to near the sea.
Also when you are swimming the waves can be very powerful and can easily knock you over so be careful.I would visit this resort again and much nicer than PDLA

As you can expect the resort is still under construction as plenty of hotels & shops are popping up all over so the dust & debris is down to this, but it isn’t a problem, the resort entertainment is excellent as there are plenty of local bars & restaurants dotted all over on the way down to the sea front, the beaches are clean but the best beach is the las vistas beach down by the Mare Nostrum Hotel(Los Americas),Harry’s bar facing the water fountain with the music & light show is a must, entertainment of a night is great ,plenty of eating places as well as mini golf for the kids!!!! As Arnie says i'll be back,

We have been here several times, the beach is not brilliant but if you want a decent beach you do not have to walk far.
Entertainment is mainly in the bars or hotels. Ideal for couples or families.
