Close to Benidorm, Albir is a modern and spacious resort well known for its tree-lined boulevards which are perfect for an evening stroll. The resort's sandy beach - Playa de Raco de l’Albir - boasts a European Community Blue Flag award, not only thanks to the water quality but also because of the available facilities nearby. Three lifeguards keep an eye on the beach during the summer months while the beach's two playgrounds make it even more popular with families. The promenade behind the beach leads up to Albir lighthouse while a small craft and artwork market is held beside the beach throughout the summer.

We were not impressed with this resort at all, if you are happy staying in the hotel watching a show or sitting by a bar then its fine, but we were paying 5 euros each way into Benidorm for better night life. The beach was not as nice as Benidorm beach either.
