Just returned from a weeks stay at the Flamingo Benidorm. First impressions were great - all inclusive buffet style food was lovely for adults ok for kids if they want to live on sausages and chips all week.

The hotel was clean, room was very dusty but otherwise ok. Beach and bars, shops etc was a straight road walk slightly downhill, hard work with pushchair coming back up!

The entertainment was terrible nothing for kids until 10pm (too late) and even then it was line dancing to oh blah de oh blah da for 30 mins, rubbish (we did complain).

All in all we had a pleasent stay. I would rate this hotel 7 out of 10 and we would return.

The hotel was clean and the food was good but if you like a laugh and you are under fifty don't stay here.

Went a bit mad first two days as you do, we were on holiday after all, nearly got kicked out so if you are 5-15 or 60-75 you will love it otherwise forget it.

If you do go to this hotel then don't go out of season or you will be with all the grannies on their 2 weeks for 1 holidays and will have no one of your own age group to relate to (unless you're a grannie of course).

We got some complaints for being a bit rowdy and were a bit annoyed that we weren't told more quickly before it became a serious issue because we would've have accepted being asked to quieten down. You know what hotels are like - thin walls and people with windows open. So if you get a bit noisy then you may want to go elsewhere.

I found most of the staff to be moody and quite disinterested except for one Spanish barman who always had a smile and a happy disposition.

It was our first time to the Flamingo Benidorm.

When we arrived it looked really nice it was spotlessly clean and the staff were lovely to us.

The food was excellent. We could eat and eat and eat it was that nice.

We dont think theres anything wrong with the holel it's lovely and the rooms are very clean.

We are coming back 2 the Flamingo Benidorm this year at the same time.

The location of this hotel is a good one because it is within easy access to the nightlife and shops but is quiet where the hotel is. A bit of a hill but not much. Ten minutes from beach and shops a few shops and bars near hotel. The best being the Titanic bar if you like football shows all matches.

Food good choice but repeats a couple of time in the week.

Good for kids plenty to do and pool first class.

The entertainment staff are English and nice but the entertainment manager is a joke does nothing. Entertainment is so so bingo is good.

Rooms very spacious and clean cleaners all day and keep coming in even if you are in bed. View is great.

Lots of things and trip to do, recommend Peacock island and water park. Rheme park not bad but have been to better.

Wuld go again and have been three times.

Bar open until midnight after that you have to pay, get drinks before midnight and stack them up.

Under the hotel is a adults only disco until about 2 am but you can not hear it from the rooms.

4 lifts children press for every floor is a problem.

Have just returned from 1 week all inclusive at the Flamingo. As we arrived in the middle of the night there were no refreshments available. Hoped to have cup of tea in bedroom but there was no kettle, cups etc. There is a small kitchen, but nothing worked in it i.e. cooker, fridge not even a socket to plug a travel kettle in.

I was given a form on arrival and asked if I would like to upgrade to 'all inclusive'. Having allready paid for all inclusive I found this quite bewildering!!! However I got this sorted out and was allocated my 'band'. We were given rooms on the 23rd floor, which I wasn't pleased about but it later transpired that this was fortunate as people in lower floors got all the noise from the outside entertainment and pool area.

Meals are 'buffet' and food was adequate , they cook a very British menu as chips came with everything. Tea is only available at breakfast, and you have to queue for drinks at all other meal times. I'd advise getting drinks first, as this eradicates the need to re-heat food in the microwave, which has gone cold whilst queing for drinks.

The entertainment was, shall we say, limited. The two girls worked very hard for their money, taking charge of both adult and childrens entertainment day and night. However, by the 5th night I was singing 'Court of King Caractacus'in my sleep. I say sleep. This was mostly disturbed by the occupants in the adjoining room. Now I've nothing against 'garage' music, I just dont appreciate it at 3am. I did eventually report this to security, who were excellent. They opened the door and took away the offending stereo, I am quite sure this was to the relief of many hotel guests.

The cleaners, bless them, did a great job, my room was kept spotless, as were most areas of the hotel. I'm sure it cant be too pleasant cleaning up gallons of vomit usually in the lift, not a task I would envy.

Some of the bar staff were pleasant, some weren't. If you're 18, with a body to die for then you had no problems, at least in the outdoor bar. The inside barstaff were mostly accommadating, especially if you dropped a tip into the bucket.

All in all not a bad holiday. I wouldn't go to the Flamingo again, but that is just my choice. It is a basic 3 star all inclusive hotel.

The Flamingo Benidorm was great. It was clean and the food was excellent. The hotel was only about 10mins away from the beach. The staff were friendly at times but sometimes could be a bit miserable(bar staff). The restaurant staff were great, some were english. The waitresses were quick and always working. The entertainment was not as good as I hoped, bingo from 9.30 then kids disco from 10.00-10.30 then it was adult time which wasn't good for me with 3 children. We did complain as kids weren't allowed on karaoke but after complaining they got at least 20 mins (wow).Overall the holiday was great, pool was lovely and i would definately go back.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone with small children.
Hotel cleanliness was much to be desired. We had cockroaches on our balcony the first night, we were allocated a low level floor, fine we thought as we were abroad. In the morning we awoke to look out over the balcony to a dead rat on the hotel roof which led directly off infront of our balcony. We asked to be moved, and we were a day later up to the seventh floor where we had guests from hell in the next room playing music until all hours of the morning, this carried on for a couple of days until we moved to another hotel. It was very noisey not family orientated at all. That very same day as moving hotel I booked tickets for myself and daughters and returned home.
