I enjoyed my time at the Picasso apartments as the staff were really friendly.

My family and friends have just returned from Picasso apartments, Benidorm, although it looks like it needs a face lift from the outside, and perhaps needs cleaning a bit more often, we had a very good two weeks holiday. The entertainment for the kids at night was good. The food served at the apartments was good. The building work we were told about before we went was not that bad. One of the problems we did have was that the lifts kept breaking down, but overall we had a very good holiday.
In reply to Dr Vixen email regarding Picasso apartment, we must have been at the Picasso at the same time, because it was my son and friends who got stuck in the lifts for about 45 minutes, I agree regarding the beds. The deposit of 60 euros was mentioned in the sunset brochure, and I don't think paying just under

Me, my partner and 2 children age 2 and 4 stayed in the picasso apartmenats in 15th july for 2weeks!
Where do I start?
On arriving at Picasso I thought 'oh my god where are we stopping'? When you first get there you get a list of things in your room to check everything is there or in our case write down the things that are broken, but it took us a good 20 minutes to get in the room everytime we went out.
Now, if you decide to sleep on the sofa bed they are quite fun (not) you spend half your night getting out and putting the back together so we ended up pushing 2 single beds together for me and the kids and using the sofa bed as a single bed. In the whole two weeks we had one bedding change and two towels changes. The cleaners visited us once but didn't do much like the other person said yes they do storm into your room.
If the Picasso was well maintained like described in the brochure it wold be a nice place to stay. Our first week was awful to say the least it was more like an 18-30 holiday. We where woke up everyday at 4am by lads throwing bottles into the pool and driving motor bikes round the pool. If you get a power cut whilst in Benidorm don't worry it will come back on eventually after about 3 hours but you get used to it. It happend 4 times to us.
The reps may as well just not been there because unless you where a young male good looking between 18 and 25 they weren't interested in you. The couple in the next room had a big leak and there room was flooded and they weren't very interested and said they didn;t have to be moved.
We were in Benidorm at the time of the bombs going off which was quite scary when it happened but it didn't seem to bother the holiday makers, you just had to be more on your guard.
Benidorm itself is just brilliant. We had the time of our lives. Panchos is brilliant for young and old, we loved it as much as the kids. If you do go to Terra Mitica don't take an obvious cooler bag as you get stopped at the gates and they check what you have in it and of course if you have food they ask you to eat it or throw it.
Just remember if you go to see phil the clown at Panchos clap your hands or you will get a custard pie!
