We were on the 17th floor and had a great view of most of Benidorm. We also looked down on hotel Sol Pelicanos' swimming pool where they film "Benidorm".

Depends on preference.
Balcony overlooking pool... daytime sun, road traffic noise.
Balcony park side afternoon sun... bus stop, traffic noise.
Only 6 floors so not a high building for Benidorm.

If booking here ask for a room overlooking the pool and be prepared for rude staff!

Great wee beach at the bottom of the road and Vincent’s bar across the road for great karaoke.Bar staff excellent especially Duncan.Balcony not always guaranteed. The other hotels we visited were also welcoming and they had an outdoor pool. Cristal park and Villa Benidorm. Excellent.
We will return. ???

Get a very high or very low floor, the middle is a nightmare for getting on the lifts.
Are the club rooms worth the extra not in my opinion

Go somewhere else
Don't take anything valuable. They just tell you to use the safe. We had expensive make up and jewellery stolen...other people had clothing stolen...others money. Gonna need bigger safes!!!! Disgusting

take extra cash because the company didnt tell us about needing a deposit! we had to pay 150 euros per room when we got there, in cash, as they didnt accept credit or debit cards (even though they took these at the bar?!) and this left us short of cash.

If like me you are a light sleeper book a pool view room.
33% off drinks in the night club under the hotel, entry near the restaurant for hotel guests. Crissie Rock good comedienne (if you are broad minded).

we were advised not to use the alleyway at night from the main road to the apartments due to some muggings. needs to be better secured.

Benidorm was great, plenty to see and do, although felt conned when we went to aqualandia for the day, sunbeds cost 4 euros and you must remain on the same sunbed all day or get charged again. rubber rings cost 8 euro although you are not told that you don't need to pay as they are free on the rides themselves.
A great place to eat is the mandarin chinese Great value for money and the food is the best i have had in any chinese, a 3 course meal with wine cost 4 euro!! the worst place to eat is the admiral nelson is dreadful the food is unedible. Another great place to eat and drink is the yorkshire pride great home cooked food and great beer all very reasonably priced and just next door to that is the tropical bar which has some of the best entertainers in benidorm and serves the best sangria in the costa blanca!!!!!

bit like skeg!good market on a sunday. We found the resort to be quite lively with many restaurants and bars. lovely beach approx. 10 mins away , all very flat with lots of hobo's!not being picky but alot of the entertainment didn't start till about midnight and was quite repetative Robbie williams tribute was worth seeing plenty of 1 euro bars.
reccomend the tiki beach bar with live music through out the day more or less everyday on the beach front with lovely view of the sea!

Benidorm is Benidorm! You either love it (as we do) or hate it. More bars are unfortunately closing, and more Chinese "tat" shops are opening up. However, it did seem to be busier this time than on our last visit.

It was very quiet and a few of the clubs were closed. This visit we did see a few beggars, one man had a mouth full of gold teeth!!!!, it seems begging can be rewarding.... but it was a pleasant holiday and we did prefer it to the hustle and bustle of our last October holiday.

you either love or hate benidorm its not a place i would visit in the peak of summer far to busy for us but we ocasionally use the trip to watch rugby internationals and to enjoy the excellent nightlife.(you just got to forget dublin they are having a laugh at their prices)
the beach is second to none to those i have visited in the med with prices lower than all resorts i have visited.
we also enjoy the old town area and visiting calpe or altea.
yes there is pickpocketing as in most resorts just be carefull and keep wallet it in your front pocket(and an trick electric shock gizmo in your back pocket)
change your money with a nationwide card or exchange your sterling in the indoor market.
finally catch alsa bus for 8 euro's across from main terminal entrance check alsa bus website for airport bus times presently leaving on the hour to av europa(via a 2 min stop in main bus station)then get a waiting taxi to your hotel.
this is generally quicker than useing a transfer company.
