We were on the 17th floor and had a great view of most of Benidorm. We also looked down on hotel Sol Pelicanos' swimming pool where they film "Benidorm".

Depends on preference.
Balcony overlooking pool... daytime sun, road traffic noise.
Balcony park side afternoon sun... bus stop, traffic noise.
Only 6 floors so not a high building for Benidorm.

Great wee beach at the bottom of the road and Vincent’s bar across the road for great karaoke.Bar staff excellent especially Duncan.Balcony not always guaranteed. The other hotels we visited were also welcoming and they had an outdoor pool. Cristal park and Villa Benidorm. Excellent.
We will return. ???

Get a very high or very low floor, the middle is a nightmare for getting on the lifts.
Are the club rooms worth the extra not in my opinion

Go somewhere else
Don't take anything valuable. They just tell you to use the safe. We had expensive make up and jewellery stolen...other people had clothing stolen...others money. Gonna need bigger safes!!!! Disgusting

take extra cash because the company didnt tell us about needing a deposit! we had to pay 150 euros per room when we got there, in cash, as they didnt accept credit or debit cards (even though they took these at the bar?!) and this left us short of cash.

If like me you are a light sleeper book a pool view room.
33% off drinks in the night club under the hotel, entry near the restaurant for hotel guests. Crissie Rock good comedienne (if you are broad minded).

Last time i visited Benidorm was in 1970 with a group of lads - this time I visited with my wife. Both times I had a really good time. Plenty to do

The resort its self was excellent this was my first trip to Benidorm and I am already thinking about coming back next year. The night life here is brilliant and there is something to do for everyone I would definately recommend it. I don't really like the beach so I didn't actually go on it. I have been told by people that did go on it though that it is very nice & clean.

Benidorm itself I found not to be very clean but in saying that, you couldn't move for people.
Another problem they seem to have there is beggers which you found in every street. There was even a women with a little girl begging for a few days.
Once you see past that its a fantastic place, great nightlife, wonderful beach and great food.
Best suited for people who want a livley holiday these to much going on to relax.

Jarrow Lad pub was very friendly, we were made so welcome we went everyday for the whole of our stay (11 Nights).
Would recommend going on a boat trip to Benidorm island an going on the submarine if you have kids as they will love the fish swimming around.

Resort could be cleaner but it was busy so it's hard to keep on top of it I suppose. Entertainment is fantastic all kinds to suit all kinds you won't find it hard to enjoy youtself. Don't be fooled by the buy 1 get 1 drink offers they are ususlly more expensive anyway. Go to John and Josephs it's the cheapest in town.
Make sure you take some good walking shoes you can walk for miles, and make sure you get lots of sleep before you go because you will be up all night (we were any way I thought I was 20 again). Watch out for the gypsies or what ever they are begging on the streets and watch out for the romanian potato men on the front they are all in on the scam and pick your pockets at the same time. Be warned.
Plenty of shops and good offers. Go to the market on wednesday thats good.
Will be back again.

Even though the beaches are of a very high standard and there was plenty of entertainment, during the day and evenings, we didnt like the resort at all, and would not revisit here

The Bali is situated in the La Calle end of Benidorm, this is the quieter part but plenty of English Pubs.
I recommend the Pheaseant Plucker and Heros, very friendly and family orientated, If you ever miss Breakfast I highly recommend "Good Vibrations" for brekkies cooked fresh and plenty of it at reasonable prices.
There is also Gins Bar and Bounders but not much of an atmosphere (all do the usual Karaoke, Bingo etc)La Calle is lovely if you dont want the "Boom Boom Music going on all night.
The lovely Beach front at La Calle is a must it always has plenty of Sunloungers and brollies at 3 Euros for however long you wish to stay plus plenty of little places to eat both Spanish and English.
The sea is like a nice warm bath, compared to the 5 pools at The Bali which are quite cold and not many sunloungers and brollies to go round, Like the other
We did venture to the new town on the last but one night of the holiday, we are 35 and 40 not old but this place is definitely for the hardened clubbers and drinkers! at 7am the pubs are all full and music loud, so if your staying in the new town be prepared for a lack of sleep from the noise in the town, but worth a visit even for 1 night.
We didnt take any excursions or see any shows as we were there to do absolutely nothing but chill out and do our own thing, but there is plenty to do for everyone.
The bus service is fantastic and costs 90 cents for wherever you want to go. I do recommend the number 12 for the new town (far end) and the number 5 for Poniente (the middle bit) both buses run every 15 mins from the rear of the Bali. Caution when crossing the road near the bus stops the Zebra crossings are ignored by drivers and the roads are very dangerous so be careful.
Restaurant I would recommend for a Spanish meal is Benitoes in poniente, brilliant service and lovely food.
We had fantastic weather in the 90's everyday and even at 3am in the morning the weather is in the 20's.
Plenty of cheap gift shops but they all sell the same things, The spirits in the shops are dirt cheap a litre bottle of Vodka Smirnoff is 4 euros and whisky from about the same price dependant on what you want. Poniente is very clean and he beaches are spotless.
We did walk from the beach back to the hotel one evening, its quite a walk in the heat, and at night there are some dodgy people on the beaches doing dodgy things with illegal drugs but if you keep away then you should not have any trouble.
Always make sure you have plenty of water to drink because they heat out there really takes it out of you. I would however recommend the beach at la calle for a less busier day out.
Benidorm is a clubbers paradise I would return but I would stay in La Calle end, but whatever age you are you are guaranteed to have a lovely time.

Benidorm is still the best for evening entertainment with top class acts in the many show bars down nearly every street! With lovely weather the last week in June was bustling with Brits & its still good value for money.

We stayed in the Old Town and only ventured into the new town on a couple of occasions, to see a couple of acts which we had heard about. Moff (Queen tribute) and Johnny the fiddler were both very good. Having read posts regarding cleanliness, prices and how busy the resort is these are my observations.
The street outside our apartments was cleaned almost hourly throughout the day even at 7pm Saturday night and the street was washed nightly and litter bins emptied several times a day. Dog owners cleaned up after their pets and we found no dog mess.
Prices for drinks in the Old Town were very reasonable and we did not object to paying a bit more for drinks if we were being entertained, although we did feel ripped off as we payed 3 pounds each for a spirit and mixer at Rockies as it was a small measure and we were virtually standing in the street to drink it.
We found the resort to be busy, with an influx of weekend visitors for stag and hen celebrations and the Old Town as busy as I can ever remember it, we have been many times.
Overall Benidorm is still excellent value for money, and you won`t eat out in a decent restaurant back home at these prices. The beaches are among the best I have seen and cater well for everyone, including the disabled.
