We were on the 17th floor and had a great view of most of Benidorm. We also looked down on hotel Sol Pelicanos' swimming pool where they film "Benidorm".

Depends on preference.
Balcony overlooking pool... daytime sun, road traffic noise.
Balcony park side afternoon sun... bus stop, traffic noise.
Only 6 floors so not a high building for Benidorm.

Great wee beach at the bottom of the road and Vincent’s bar across the road for great karaoke.Bar staff excellent especially Duncan.Balcony not always guaranteed. The other hotels we visited were also welcoming and they had an outdoor pool. Cristal park and Villa Benidorm. Excellent.
We will return. ???

Are the club rooms worth the extra not in my opinion
Get a very high or very low floor, the middle is a nightmare for getting on the lifts.

Don't take anything valuable. They just tell you to use the safe. We had expensive make up and jewellery stolen...other people had clothing stolen...others money. Gonna need bigger safes!!!! Disgusting
Go somewhere else

take extra cash because the company didnt tell us about needing a deposit! we had to pay 150 euros per room when we got there, in cash, as they didnt accept credit or debit cards (even though they took these at the bar?!) and this left us short of cash.

If like me you are a light sleeper book a pool view room.
33% off drinks in the night club under the hotel, entry near the restaurant for hotel guests. Crissie Rock good comedienne (if you are broad minded).

Resort cleanliness was excellent.
Resort entertainment catered for all tastes. Beach standard, blue flag, extremely clean as it is machine swept every night.
On the Levante beach they had an area for wheelchair access to a platform which was roofed from the sun, and a disabled toilet on site. Very forward thinking.
The same applied to Poniente beach, which was much quieter. Not the same facilities for the disabled, but there were plenty of accessible bars and restaurants, and a taxi rank close by.

I would give this resort a 5 star rating, there are loads of things to do, from being a sun worshiper to jet skiing, becoming a flying fish, bannana boats the list is endless.
If you want a couple of great days out I have to recommend Terra Mitica and Aqualand. Me and my family had a great time at each, great value for money and an unbeliveable amount of fun.
The beach is cleaned each night and is a joy to be on in the day.
Night life is fab, with loads to do. If you want English food, try the Queen Mary just down from the apartments, they are lovely in there and the food is really nice.
Bar sol on the beach front is a great place to go to, the bar staff are eager to please and very friendly.
If you are looking for a fab Mexican resturant, ask the taxi driver to take you to Chillie Grande, not much English spoken here but the food is unreal.
Thanks First Choice for a fantastic holiday!!!

Resort clean, great beach very clean.
Resort entertainment ok but same acts year after year.
You can get a pint for 90c at the Three Lions (it's buy the Dogs Bo****ks), try Pauls diner for eating out also Rays fish and chips a must.
There are to many shops selling the same tacky goods.

The resort is very clean, especially along the beach front. There may be some mess made at night by the revelers, but you would never know they had been there when you're out walking the next day as this been cleaned up.
There are plenty of bars and restaurants for all ages, not just for the young as stated on some posts. If you dont want to be round all the noise at night then stay away from the main square, but there are plenty of other bars and cabarets for the older holiday maker.
It was very busy at weekends, especially round the square, mostly full of hen and stag dos over for the weekend.
There are many woman out on the streets begging with their babies and children and this can be a bit off putting at first.
Benidorm is a great resort and caters for all ages.

So many bars, so little time!
Cabaret bars are a must, some of the comedians will have you in tears laughing!
One of the best beaches i've ever seen and it runs all the way down to the old town - great for a relaxing stroll in the evenings.
Loads of restaurants too if you want to eat out and most bars have happy hours going on all night on beer and spirits.
What more do you want!

It is a lively place to visit with nice beach and plenty of things to do and see. Just beware of palm court and its cockroaches.

There wasn't as much dog mess as I was given to understand although it seems to be de riguer for locals and expats to have a ratdog on a big lead. Entertainment is widespread if somewhat samey. Unfortunately some of the comics were rude (not really a problem for me) and some could be very racist (which should be a problem for anyone). Very Bernard Manning and this was disappointing. Most of the entertainment bars had either Sticky Vicky or some other sex show late of a night. The resort itself was populated mainly by northerners (Geordies, Glaswegians, Scousers and Mancunians) so some people from the south may feel a little alienated. Terra Mitica was good fun with hardly any queues. Some very good rides. Aquamar was not so good as the food was quite expensive and there was not a huge amount of rides. You could get a drink at almost any time. Some of the bars had pints of local lager for 95 cents which is a bargain by any stretch. The outdoor market is abysmal. Crowded and with no variety. Didn't see a single outburst of trouble although there were many groups of single lads and girls.
