We were on the 17th floor and had a great view of most of Benidorm. We also looked down on hotel Sol Pelicanos' swimming pool where they film "Benidorm".

Depends on preference.
Balcony overlooking pool... daytime sun, road traffic noise.
Balcony park side afternoon sun... bus stop, traffic noise.
Only 6 floors so not a high building for Benidorm.

Great wee beach at the bottom of the road and Vincent’s bar across the road for great karaoke.Bar staff excellent especially Duncan.Balcony not always guaranteed. The other hotels we visited were also welcoming and they had an outdoor pool. Cristal park and Villa Benidorm. Excellent.
We will return. ???

Get a very high or very low floor, the middle is a nightmare for getting on the lifts.
Are the club rooms worth the extra not in my opinion

Go somewhere else
Don't take anything valuable. They just tell you to use the safe. We had expensive make up and jewellery stolen...other people had clothing stolen...others money. Gonna need bigger safes!!!! Disgusting

take extra cash because the company didnt tell us about needing a deposit! we had to pay 150 euros per room when we got there, in cash, as they didnt accept credit or debit cards (even though they took these at the bar?!) and this left us short of cash.

If like me you are a light sleeper book a pool view room.
33% off drinks in the night club under the hotel, entry near the restaurant for hotel guests. Crissie Rock good comedienne (if you are broad minded).

Second time we have been to Benidorm and we would return again.

Just down the hill from the Hotel, on the way to the Beach/Old Town there are a couple of places to mention. The Witches Bistro serve delicious food, as does the Pasty Shop which sell freshly made Pasties, Pies and Sandwiches.
In the Old Town we went to a small but excellent Restaurant called The Two Palms. They do an Evening Meal that consists of a choice of 12 starters, 12 Main Courses and 12 Sweets....all for €12. Good wine for €10 a bottle. Give it a try, but book beforehand as it is small and very popular. (Tel:676 216 168)
Another place I recommend is a Bar called "EL Navegante" (The Navigator). Close to the beach and very friendly. Have a look at their web site and pay them a visit.

Benidorm is just Benidorn you either love it or hate it its a matter of taste.
We always go slightly off peak then its a little calmer with less Drunken brits vomiting all over the place. Go and see " Martin Kent" he is fantastic, Terra Mitica and Mundomar are worth a visit as is Benidorm Island.
The beaches are excellent as usual and all in all its a fab place

Benidorm is a great place for all the family with clubs that entertain the kids and then the adults after. The only thing wrong is the thiefs the police should do something about these as if it was not for us it would not be the place it is today the beach is cleaned every night so it is very nice. aqualand and mudormar are great for kids of all ages but terri mitica is not for the very young or tall people

Very British, full of English pubs and so on but this does make it easier for kids. No shortage of places to eat. For any vegetarians out there you may have to look around a bit. Plenty of places doing breakfasts, pizzas and jacket potatoes. We also found Yorkshire Pride 2 did a meat free bolognese and the Queen Mary did a veg lasagne as did the Admiral Nelson, although it was pretty small. All of these close to Vacanza. If you venture to the the other end of the town (the better end!) there are some god Indian restaurants (we ate at one in Calle Ibiza, can't remember the name but it was at the far end, and it was the best 'curry' I've ever had). There is also the Magic Roundabout which had a good veggie choice and another place opposite that (can't remember the name but it was next to Hogwarts).
Aqualandia is well worth a visit but make sure you get your tickets from the guy on the tall bike, you'll know him when you see him. In fact you hear him first as he is accompanied by loud music, and he tends to ride around the main streets all day. You can save €10 euros on a family ticket if you buy from him. And you can walk to Aqualandia from the complex, just turn right out of the gate and carry on walking for about 15mins, you see it up on the hill.

We did not use many of the facilities in resort as everything was available in our hotel. On our daily walk into the resort we found it to be quite clean and the beach was beautiful. There was something for everyone in the resort from mini-golf to cable ski-ing. We would definitely visit this resort again.

I have been to Benidorm twice and both time I have found it excellent. If you like a working mens club atmosphere, Benidorm is for you.
There are not too many teenagers or lager louts and the bars are friendly and inviting. The beach is the best I have ever seen and there is plenty to do and places for visit for the children.
I would recommend if going with children that you go all inclusive and stay in your hotel in the evening. I do not think that the bars are suitable for children at night as some of the comedians are quite blue.

What can you say about Benidorm? My husband & I love it. There is something here for everybody. There are numerous bars & clubs, and plenty of bars in the old town if you want a quiet night or two. There are some really good shops both in the new & old town. The beach is spotlessly clean - it is cleaned either every night or very early morning. We just love Benidorm!
