We were on the 17th floor and had a great view of most of Benidorm. We also looked down on hotel Sol Pelicanos' swimming pool where they film "Benidorm".

Depends on preference.
Balcony overlooking pool... daytime sun, road traffic noise.
Balcony park side afternoon sun... bus stop, traffic noise.
Only 6 floors so not a high building for Benidorm.

If booking here ask for a room overlooking the pool and be prepared for rude staff!

Great wee beach at the bottom of the road and Vincent’s bar across the road for great karaoke.Bar staff excellent especially Duncan.Balcony not always guaranteed. The other hotels we visited were also welcoming and they had an outdoor pool. Cristal park and Villa Benidorm. Excellent.
We will return. ???

Are the club rooms worth the extra not in my opinion
Get a very high or very low floor, the middle is a nightmare for getting on the lifts.

Go somewhere else
Don't take anything valuable. They just tell you to use the safe. We had expensive make up and jewellery stolen...other people had clothing stolen...others money. Gonna need bigger safes!!!! Disgusting

take extra cash because the company didnt tell us about needing a deposit! we had to pay 150 euros per room when we got there, in cash, as they didnt accept credit or debit cards (even though they took these at the bar?!) and this left us short of cash.

If like me you are a light sleeper book a pool view room.
33% off drinks in the night club under the hotel, entry near the restaurant for hotel guests. Crissie Rock good comedienne (if you are broad minded).

we were advised not to use the alleyway at night from the main road to the apartments due to some muggings. needs to be better secured.

I wasnt as keen on Benidorm as I thought I was going to be after having read all the reviews, but to be fair, we were positioned at the top of a hill and in the old town, quite a step away from all the bars I was planning to visit!! I found it to be quite a busy place and not many english people in the old town. It wasnt very pedestrianised either. If I was to return there Id go to the New Town, but I dont think I would return.
The days out though were what made our holiday! I loved them! We went to Mundomar, Algar Falls, Noah's Ark, Benidorm Palace and Medieval Knight. Mundomar is WELL worth the visit, with sealions, parrots and dolphins shows, you can take pics with them, and animals like Turtles and Flamingoes, and Penguins, etc. Also right next door to Aquapark which isnt open til summer, so you can split the two. Benidorm Palace is FAB, you must go there even to see the costumes, its for all ages. The first drink is free so get the most expensive.

Really clean around the hotel but a few blocks down the road there was alot of building work underway on a new hotel, causing a bit of dust. Generally though a clean city.
Benidorm is a lively place with various bars and pubs, resulting in a mix of entertainment to suit nearly anyone.
The beach, clean white sand and a beautiful sea front - nothing bad at all to say.

As we travelled in February the resort was very quite and the weather was not so good as would be in the months of June or July etc. This did not stop us from going around the resort and enjoying ourselves.
Rain was very heavy on one of our days and trying to get around was like walking through a river and streets became very slippy and dangerous. Last day was very warm and people did use the beach both to sunbathe and swim in the sea.
Weather cannot be helped so would not slate resort due to this, as weather all over the world is upside down at the moment.

Benidorm is the same as any other resort out of season as many of the places are closed.
One thing that does spoil it is the amount of Dog mess everywhere. Also there seems to be an influx of beggars with babies sitting around the streets.
One thing we particulaly noticed were the numbers of scruffy bars operated by Brits charging over the odds for very mediocre food and drink.
This is a completly honest opinion of Benidorm and although we may return some day we would certainly not visit in High season as the mess then must be staggering.

Our hotel was in a quieter area.
A few minutes down the road there were bars/shops/cafes etc but far enough away not to be a nuisance.
It took us about 15/20 mins gentle strolling to get to the beach which was kept very clean. There were plently of bars and shops along the beach front if you wanted a break from sunbathing.
A short 5 euro journey in a taxi takes you into the old town where you can wander up and down the narrow streets shopping for locally made things.
