We were on the 17th floor and had a great view of most of Benidorm. We also looked down on hotel Sol Pelicanos' swimming pool where they film "Benidorm".

Depends on preference.
Balcony overlooking pool... daytime sun, road traffic noise.
Balcony park side afternoon sun... bus stop, traffic noise.
Only 6 floors so not a high building for Benidorm.

Avoid!
If booking here ask for a room overlooking the pool and be prepared for rude staff!

Great wee beach at the bottom of the road and Vincent’s bar across the road for great karaoke.Bar staff excellent especially Duncan.Balcony not always guaranteed. The other hotels we visited were also welcoming and they had an outdoor pool. Cristal park and Villa Benidorm. Excellent.
We will return. ???

Are the club rooms worth the extra not in my opinion
Get a very high or very low floor, the middle is a nightmare for getting on the lifts.

Don't take anything valuable. They just tell you to use the safe. We had expensive make up and jewellery stolen...other people had clothing stolen...others money. Gonna need bigger safes!!!! Disgusting
Go somewhere else

take extra cash because the company didnt tell us about needing a deposit! we had to pay 150 euros per room when we got there, in cash, as they didnt accept credit or debit cards (even though they took these at the bar?!) and this left us short of cash.

If like me you are a light sleeper book a pool view room.
33% off drinks in the night club under the hotel, entry near the restaurant for hotel guests. Crissie Rock good comedienne (if you are broad minded).

we were advised not to use the alleyway at night from the main road to the apartments due to some muggings. needs to be better secured.

Been to benidorm 3 times now. Stayed in June a few years ago and absolutley fantastic, just the right mix of weather and people. Went in August again last year and was informed it is not the best time to go as the Spanish and French have their holiday month then and the place was absolutely packed.
Hired a car and it took 30 minutes to park it as all the other europeans had parked their cars up for the month. The variety of entertainment was impressive, particularly the comedians. My favourites were Gary George and Danny Downing....but something for everyone.

The Levante beach is one of the nicest I have been to. Cleaned every day & kept immaculate. Access to the beach is easy and the promenade is wide and level. In January there was plenty of entertainment both during the day and in the evenings but without the noise of hordes of young people enjoying themselves as in the summer months.
If you take or hire a car beware of where you park. Always get a parking voucher from the machines if you are parking in the blue marked bays. Wherever we went we found the shop & bar staff to be helpful & most spoke good enough english.

There are lots of little pubs and clubs around the Flamingo benidorm. the big clubs are only a 5 min walk.
The beach is very clean, and really quiet in winter months but packed in the summer months!

We stayed in Benidorm and found the shops, cafe's, restaurants and nightlife first class.
There is not a lot more you can say about Benidorm because if can't enjoy yourself there you can't enjoy yourself anywhere.

Benidorm was an eye opener. It was quite a good experience I would say it was up to every individual to experience for themselves.

Benidorm - you either love it or hate it - however it makes a perfect destination for a winter holiday. The night life/entertainment is fantastic

The resort itself was ok but is geared towards older people (I am 45), but may well be different in summer season.
To be honest there were good parts and bad parts. Some very nice bars but loads of fish and chip shops and burger bars. Every bar seems to have the same acts on at different times during the week, Elvis, Everley Bros etc impersonators. The only bar we found that was different and warranted 3 visits was the Malibu that had some absolutely brilliant singers on, and whilst specializing in Jazz music was, to me, the best thing about the resort at night.
The beach was very clean and the prom nice to walk along with all sorts of shops and bars to visit during the day.
The weather for January was 16 degrees and a welcome break from the snow in the UK but I don't think I would return to Benidorm again (maybe Alicante region but not Benidorm centre) and I would not return to the Magic Rock Gardens again even if I was paid to go!!!

We visit Benidorm twice per year every year. Would recommend to anyone - though not at height of season when there's loads of youngsters, hen and stag dos and drunken yobs walking the streets early mornings. Otherwise, a great place for a holiday, friendly people - Spanish and English - lots of bars, restaurants, loads of variety of entertainment to meet most tastes and the beach is better than excellent.
