We were on the 17th floor and had a great view of most of Benidorm. We also looked down on hotel Sol Pelicanos' swimming pool where they film "Benidorm".

Depends on preference.
Balcony overlooking pool... daytime sun, road traffic noise.
Balcony park side afternoon sun... bus stop, traffic noise.
Only 6 floors so not a high building for Benidorm.

Avoid!
If booking here ask for a room overlooking the pool and be prepared for rude staff!

Great wee beach at the bottom of the road and Vincent’s bar across the road for great karaoke.Bar staff excellent especially Duncan.Balcony not always guaranteed. The other hotels we visited were also welcoming and they had an outdoor pool. Cristal park and Villa Benidorm. Excellent.
We will return. ???

Are the club rooms worth the extra not in my opinion
Get a very high or very low floor, the middle is a nightmare for getting on the lifts.

Go somewhere else
Don't take anything valuable. They just tell you to use the safe. We had expensive make up and jewellery stolen...other people had clothing stolen...others money. Gonna need bigger safes!!!! Disgusting

take extra cash because the company didnt tell us about needing a deposit! we had to pay 150 euros per room when we got there, in cash, as they didnt accept credit or debit cards (even though they took these at the bar?!) and this left us short of cash.

If like me you are a light sleeper book a pool view room.
33% off drinks in the night club under the hotel, entry near the restaurant for hotel guests. Crissie Rock good comedienne (if you are broad minded).

If you go to Benidorm you have to go and see the shows there is alot of talent there some are better than you see on TV, the beach is clean, plenty of cafes, loads of little cheap shops and in the old town you will find 3 Euro shops.

Beach deserves its blue flag awards as it is immaculate, the beach cleaners spend hours each night cleaning it,it is also very safe with numouous lif guards dotted alonghte beach. The entertainment is now getting a bit dated ,but most people seem to like like it,as they tend to like cabereat acts, but Iam not rellly into anything like thast. There also seems to be a lot of stag ,hen birthday do,s now going there, and they seem to like the square. You can still have a quiet holidat as I did as there are still many bars and resturaunts where you can just go gor a drink or a meal you dont have to go to where it is really buy and noisy. You wil ether love Benidorm or hate there is no in between, but I thnk there is somthing for everyone if you are prepared to go a bit futher that the square and the main street.I will admit some parts are looking a bit to be desired and it needs sprucing up in parts.

Benidorm beach is kept spotless, there is plenty of bars and shops all very cheap (lots of competition). Generally the tourists and people in benidorm were very nice.
BE WARNED
my husband and i were walking back to the hotel at 2am and close to the hotel on a large well lit road, 2 men ran up to us pulling at my bag, shouting in a different language, when i refused to hand over my bag they took out knives and threatened us, it was terrifying. i gave them my bag. but one of the men insisted my husband had something in his pocket ( he didnt) this man was so angry he thrusted the knife at my husband, i believe we were lucky to get away with our lives.
we then got a taxi home every night, the local people knew about this problem. i think Benidorm needs to be patrolled by police to prevent this happening again.
BE WARNED
a couple of days later in the afternoon we saw an elderley man who was very distressed as a woman (spanish gypsy)had pick pocketed his wallet, she was denying it but she was working with another person who she had passed the wallet on to, so she was seen as inocent, another holiday maker found his wallet but it was empty.
We were only in Benidorm for 7 days and we saw these 2 incidents, so just how many holiday makers are affected by this behaviour.
Benidorm is a great place to holiday BUT i would never go again, because i dont feel this is a safe place.

I absolutley love benidorm, this was my 5th visit. We found a bar that was selling bottled lager for 60c about 40p in english money, so you can make it as cheap as you want. There is varied entertainment and something for all ages. Dont listen to those people who say that it is Blackpool with sun as it is nothing like that. My son loves it and we will definetly be back.

Benidorm, you will either love it or hate it.The vast majority of visitors love it and huge numbers of Brits holiday here each year. If you expect to smple Spainish culture then Beni is not for you. Benidorm is divided into four areas, the old town,Pointente,Levante, and Ricon. The majority of Brits stay in the Lavante and Ricon areas.Benidorm is a city rather than a resort and boasts 140 skyscrapers (of 20 floors or more), and also the tallest hotel in Europe with 35 floors it also has two world class blue flag beaches and over 800 bars. The entertainment is fantasic and there is something for everyone, from Rock Roll to Country Music, it is covered in in the bars.Ther are also a number of clubs with entertainers from tribute acts to comedy it all here. Add to this over 300 days of sunshine each year and only a 3 hour flight it is easy to see why it is so popular.Would i visit again? i can't wait.
