We were on the 17th floor and had a great view of most of Benidorm. We also looked down on hotel Sol Pelicanos' swimming pool where they film "Benidorm".

Depends on preference.
Balcony overlooking pool... daytime sun, road traffic noise.
Balcony park side afternoon sun... bus stop, traffic noise.
Only 6 floors so not a high building for Benidorm.

Avoid!
If booking here ask for a room overlooking the pool and be prepared for rude staff!

Great wee beach at the bottom of the road and Vincent’s bar across the road for great karaoke.Bar staff excellent especially Duncan.Balcony not always guaranteed. The other hotels we visited were also welcoming and they had an outdoor pool. Cristal park and Villa Benidorm. Excellent.
We will return. ???

Get a very high or very low floor, the middle is a nightmare for getting on the lifts.
Are the club rooms worth the extra not in my opinion

Don't take anything valuable. They just tell you to use the safe. We had expensive make up and jewellery stolen...other people had clothing stolen...others money. Gonna need bigger safes!!!! Disgusting
Go somewhere else

take extra cash because the company didnt tell us about needing a deposit! we had to pay 150 euros per room when we got there, in cash, as they didnt accept credit or debit cards (even though they took these at the bar?!) and this left us short of cash.

If like me you are a light sleeper book a pool view room.
33% off drinks in the night club under the hotel, entry near the restaurant for hotel guests. Crissie Rock good comedienne (if you are broad minded).

we were advised not to use the alleyway at night from the main road to the apartments due to some muggings. needs to be better secured.

Beaches

Resort was kept clean and tidy.Resort Entertainment was the best I have had in a holiday. So much choice and so many pubs and bars to choose from. The beach facilities I did not use but from what I saw it looked good. They were even out late at night cleaning all the sand up for the next day.Yes I shall definately be coming back to Benidorm.

the beaches are fantastic although the sand did get extremely hot, the sea was lovely but noticed on the last couple of days was getting full of litter, plenty to do also try to visit the gran bali it is the tallest building in spain, although a taller building is getting built, having visited benidorm years ago i found it better than expected, not at all tacky, its the only place i know that cleans the beaches a midnight.

Brilliant resort, full of night life and cheap drinks. Always something to do, entertainment in particular was great.

the resort was very good, but watch out for the Potato man, we watched them for 2 hours and it was unbalivable.

considering Benidorm is such a tourist area for british holiday makers we found very few people working in shops and restaurants could speak any english or else you had british restuarants serving pies chips and beans! there does not seem to be an in between. the weather however was great and the beach fabulous I would go back just for it.

First time in benidorm and it was a lot busier than other holiday resorts I have stayed stayed at flamingo benidorm which was about half mile from levante beach which was a very large beach we mainly spent day at hotel but did spend one day at beach took my beachball with us but there was not really anyspace to play it beach was absolutely packed.
One of the best parts of the holiday was visiting the mundomar which had a fantastic dolphin show fabulous to watch these creatures!
One day went to the market which is massive and saw the potato men I had read so much about went to watch to see what it was all about and the guy standing next to me handed over 50 euros won and then said to me! look how easy it is to win you have ago! I made a hasty exit! These conmen are terrible they should be locked up.
Saw a few monkeys which I avoided after out rep told us about a monkey that when you get your picture taken with it it then steals your wallet with its tail, will never look at monkeys the same again!, were also warned about pickpockets on more than one occassion mmm...there must be quite a few about in benidorm.
A lot of reports have said how british benidorm is and yes it does have a lot of british there and there are a lot of british bars etc but there are also a lot of spanish holiday makers there at night it is nearly all spanish who walk along levante beach.
Nightlife seems to very good although made a mistake on first night heard about very large ibiza style nightclubs km disco 5500 capacity penelopes pacha space which were all on the same road. We went to Km disco which was 20 euros each to get in and the drinks were 8euros for a vodka cola it was not until about 3 in morning that it got busier but there were probably only about 3 or 4hundred there in a place that was 5andhalf thousand capacity so it looked empty.
Other nights out were better we headed to english square which was a lot cheaper no entrance fees into the nightclubs which were smaller but the price was better, in rollingstones were we went to seemed to have the cheapest drinks at 2 euros which was a quarter of price of Km disco which we went to, we also went to lennons, sinatras, hippodrome, beachcomber all on same street with reasonable drinks prices and people trying to pull you into there clubs with free shots and cocktails which is ok if you want to go in!
On last night went down to levante beach front which had a smaller km disco and penelopes with no entrance fee but higher drinks prices what differed about these clubs was that nearly everyone in them were spanish were as english square it was nearly all english bizzare!
I would say benidorm has something for everyone but anyone wanting quiet calm holiday should probably avoid benidorm.
I prefered ibiza for nightlife to benidorm but it was a good holiday.

Excellent - we keep going back year after year - yes some say it is Blackpool with Sun -
There is two distinct sides to Benidorm - the new town (lots of English Bars, busy nightlife) and the old town - lots of smaller english and spanish bars, lots of restaurants!
