We stayed in the santa monica hotel, we booked as a late deal and was allacation on arrival. I couldnt of been more impressed when i walked through the door. The happy, pleasant staff were there to greet you. They'd even left the dining area open for us in case we were hungry-even though it had closed 2 hours prior. The entertainment wasnt in our age range but if we sat there whilst the kids shows were on, you'd never feel out of place. The cleaners would clean our room every day. I couldn't of been more happy with the standard,cleanliness and helpfulness that the staff and the hotel had to offer. It was the best holiday of mine and that was mainly to the hotel. In the future i will definantly be returning i dont no how i could'nt.

We stayed here in August 2004 and it was absolutly brilliant, I never known a hotel or staff like it. My children went to the kids club and it was excellent Sam, Teresa and Allan did an excellent job, I could not of wished for better kids reps!
The reps that where on the desk upstairs were excellent to, well there were 2 of them but we only really used to see steven as stuart was always out doing guiding and stuff.
I would recommend this hotel and i have already booked up for next year.
See you all again soon.

On arrival we found the staff very helpful and friendly even at 6 am in the morning. The accomodation was very good and so was the complementry bottle of wine. The staff were always friendly and made our stay very enjoyable, especially reception and staff in the resturant. Sam and allan were absolutley brilliant with the kids.
Two of our party have visited this hotel 3 times in the past 8 year and were recognised by the staff from previous visits, they have always found the staff very helpfull indeed, as one is registerd disabled. We would definately reccommend the santa monica as a first rate hotel, and we cant wait to return in July this year 2005.

Room was basic and clean there was enough space,air conditioning and a tv with satelite channels.Pool was fine for kids .Plenty of activities to do in the day .Location was good lots of shops,bars and cafes.Very friendly atmosphere and service was good at reception . Kids club was great lots of activities and Staff were excellant Sam,Teresa and Allan, my daughter did not want to leave children made friends easily .We would definately considor staying there again . Holiday overall for us was good value,good weather and one to be remembered.

the only reason i booked this holiday was that it was a cheap getaway in the travel agents window, and after less than 2 weeks back i have booked again for 2 weeks next year! the room was basic but clean, the staff were the friendliest i have come across, the pool area got full quite quickly so you had to be up early to get sunbeds but i dont think that's any different to any other hotel. the food was good, there was always something to have, lots of variety. the location of the hotel is excellent as everything is a stones throw away and there is lots to do.
i didn't think the entertainment was that good but then again not all people like the same!
after holidaying in rhodes last year i said i would never go back to spain, but i have booked again as we all enjoyed it so much, i would recommend this hotel to anyone!

This hotel was immaculate considering it is only rated 2 star in some brochures.
The entertainment was a bit naff but Marta and Pepe did their best.
Staff where nice and friendly and guess what yep were
all going back this year. Yippee

We went with Skytours through Thomson. We stayed there for a week, and in that time we ate in the restaurant every night.
The food was fairly average, but there was always something you could find to eat, and as it was included in such a cheap package, you can't really argue!
It was a very clean hotel, the maids were very thorough and friendly, and didn't mind if you were still in bed!
The staff in the bar, restaurant and reception were fantastic, always friendly and made you feel very welcome.
The entertainment was fairly good, fantastic for children and was always a good start to the night, cheap drinks, and then perfectly located to move into the town!
Would we go back again? yes we are this summer!! (but this year we are going through Portland-Direct, same holiday, same reps, but cheaper!)

just a message to say the hotel was exellent and staff very helpfull unfortunately my father took bad and i needed to get home straight away the staff pulled all the stops out to get me home the next day ps. kids club was exellent

the hotel was very clean,the rooms had air conditioning and the layout quite good,the food was not bad but it tended to be the same every day,the location was excellent a short walk from the beach and all the shops,most of the staff were very helpful and you can change money at reception,it was very busy at the poolside so get there early i would stay at this hotel again.
