this was booked at last minute due to flight cancellation for holiday elsewhere,a cheap deal and we got what we paid for,all inclusive 10am-12 midnight,rooms cleaned daily although we would have liked the bedding changed more often as not changed all week even though sun cream had been spilt.food very basic and the microwave needed to be used to heat it up but we always found something to eat,entertainment was terrible,music playing and loads of students up dancing and spilling drinks,most staff very pleasant and helpful(although not with rude guests!!)would not recommend due to noise and lack of sleep,make sure you take ear plugs and an open mind.

i have stayed in the olympic many times during my 30 visits to calella. it is in a very good location with plenty of bars within walking or staggering distance, i would recommend the white horse and the beach boys club. the hotel staff are friendly and helpful rooms cleaned every day. food is average for spain but edible. pools are good. hotel can be noisey at time especially when european student are there. i would recommend this hotel to anybody be cause i am staying thehe again in june.

after a weeks holiday at the olympic we all had an amzing time. the hotel is close to shops supermarkets bars and clubs the food is ok pretty similar every night but apart from that it is food when you are hungry.the bar at night is not the best sometimes you need to wait 15 mins for a drink but the bar staff work hard i asked one memeber of staff behind the bar and he works from either 8 am till 5 pm or 5 pm till midnight then they still need to tidy up.its not easy for them either not there fault the ques are a mile long. the entartainment was more or less or for kids but its good just to sit and chill. some one left a comment about screaming kids running aroud the lonuge etc what do you expect kids are kids!!! the recepption staff are very friendly and are always on hand to help you i would come back we were on the 6th floor so heard nothing apart from one night after the lifts colse at 12 was people going up to the 7th floor after everyone had went to bed there was no more noise. people sit on the steps at night smoking and drinkin but no one means any harm...go to this hotel with an open mind we all had fun

This hotel is the pits, its dated and dangerous with single glazed patio doors without stickers on. Plaster falling off walls and bird muck on the balconies which stayed there all of our stay as it was set like cement.
The hotel is infested with ants and mites which they sprayed but left all the dead bugs and more were back the next day, these were also in the beds and came back home with us in our cases, horrible.
The main areas were clean, the food was ok some unrecognisable meats with no labels to say what they were. The entertainment did not exist it consisted of a tape being played over and over again.
Only 2 bar staff in the bar so you queued for 20 minutes for a drink, bar staff were very rude, we witnessed loads of people complaining there was always a queue at reception to make complaints. AVOID!! Spend your money on a better hotel.
Good point free bus to the other HTop hotels in other resorts the ones in Lloret worth visiting.

My wife and I stayed in the "H-Top Olympic"In Calella on the Costa Brava in July,2009.We we went on a coach holiday with "Ferris"(Cardiff).We had four full days there.,fully inclusive. I have to admit that I was rather taken aback by some of the comments from previous guests-tho' the majority seem to be dated 2005/6.I found the food good and,predictably for me,I'm afraid,I ate too much!We were in room 10,which was a short walk and five stairs away from the bar;plus it had a large terrace overlooking the "main" pool.As we weren't interested in the evening entertainment,we were happy,after a stroll following dinner,to sit up there and have a few drinks-this was pleasant,quiet and relaxing.I've thought seriously about some of the reports here,and my own standards and integrity.I'm a retired schoolmaster,and believe I'm used to living well.I can only offer the following in support of my review:Our room was at the back of the hotel,and maybe why it was quiet;although I must concur about the walls transmission of noise-we could hear the guests next door.I spoke to them the next morning about this;and it turns out they live a couple of miles up the road from us!The tour company "Ferris" chose our resort and hotel on one of their "bargain deals".We had four days/nights(All inclusive)for

Rooms were very small but clean, bedding and towels changed daily. Food was disgusting, it was either pork, veal or rabbit. I got food posioning and was ill for a good 2 days, been back 2 days and still recovering had to visit my GP. Spent most of every night queing at bar until in end it was to warm abd we did,nt bother using the all inclusive. Hotel staff was very grumpy and the entertainment was terrible. Pools were great!

Hotel cleanliness. Mattresses covered in urine and faeces stained.
Hotel food. Unedible. Food swimming in fat. Cold and no choice. All inclusive snacks left swimming in fat and on heater for hours on end.
Hotel location not far from beach. Beach full of shingles and unable to walk on.
Hotel staff rude and unhelpful. Entertainment rubbish. No music. Ideal holiday for stiff bodies not requiring nourishment or any entertainment. Like being in Beirut. All customers complained about hotel. Needs pulling down. Accommodation like something out the 1900's. I would never visit hotel again, I had to pay to move hotel and have already started my complaints procedure and only got back today. Never, ever, ever, again the most diabolical hotel in the resort. Well known to all other hotels for the hell hole it is.

Food was unedible, we struggled and were only there for 4 nights. People were constantly complaining at reception, however our worst problem was we did not sleep for the duration. The noise was unacceptable. Drunks in corridors most of the night, fighting and shouting. A party of students (english) on our last night taking drugs, music blaring etc etc we called security, eventually police were called - nightmare. Queues for bar were totally unacceptable, several hundred guests and only two serving. Only two drinks per person, if both went to bar someone stole your table. Staff unfriendly. Lots of "students" or young groups. Definately not going back to this hotel

Pools were great especially the deep end. Food was revolting (except the free ice creams and the colas) . Very noisy at night.

It was awful. Firstly we were supposed to be located in Lloret De Mar and ended up in Calella. The food was awful and cold I spent the few days we stayed there eating chips and salad for tea and dinner and toast for breakfast.
