Do not stay here.. Worst ever so called hotel I have stayed in
Avoid if you want an All Inclusive holiday and don't want to pay for anything as this hotel charges by the minute it seems for anything they want to.

Take an empty water bottle with you down to breakfast and fill it up, saving you having to buy water for the day.

Lloret de Mar has been suffering from bad press for many years. In reality it is a great family resort with plenty to do. The beach - although shingle - is cleaned daily and is long so plenty of room to spread out on. There are many places to eat and drink and the old town is a must to see. Rent a car and discover the hidden Costa Brava, it is stunning.

Pleasantly surprised by Lloret. Enjoyed it very much and found it reasonably priced for drinks and meals out. Good nightlife and lots to do in the surrounding areas.

old fashioned working spanish town, with a quieter end at fenals.market on tuesday mornings behind the casino.
plenty of shopping in old town.
loads of clubs for youngsters on main street, but limited entertainment for oldies, except for in the hotels.
price of drinks in main town bars seem to have risen sharply with some bars charging 5 euros a pint!
beach is shingle and slopes very quickly, so not ideal for kids, but fenals beach was cleaned every day i was there.

Our first visit to Lloret and we were impressed.A new bus station is being constucted not far from the present one.Compared with the UK it's very cheap to take a bus to nearby Tossa or Blanes or you can walk on to a boat on the beach to go by sea instead. The beach is fine gravel which is a lot cleaner than sand but still comfortable to relax on.

Excellent views, brilliant beaches, many places to visit within a bus ride, trip to blanes gets you on the train to
barcelona, 45 minutes, very good shopping, more shops and resturants than you know what to do with, every shoppers dream, eat your heart out barcelona this is my dream location. generally excellent food especially 4 locations in LLoret De Mar itself, good prices and well worth a visit.
I have travelled most of spain including cost del sol costa blanca majorca meorca benidorm magaluf playa de las anericas, and this is the best for me, fantastic sea fronts weel planned walkways, clean beaches. Try fennels and tossa de mar within a bus ride

Lloret is great lots of bars / shops etc but if you want the quiter scene it is possible though it wasnt for us so never ventured futher than the hussle and bussle. The Royal Beach is closer to the Fenals area which is quiter and personally I prefered it in the day but nothing much at night apart from a few bars and the saviour of the Robin Hoood Bar across the road open after the hotel bar shuts (12pm)
Beaches are clean but it is grit rather than 'sand' so no sandcastles for the kids lol.
People who compare Lloret to Blackppol need to live in Blackppol first before they make that statement.
Don't book your holiday on the outcome of a review why not make your own mind up and have a good time whilst your at it ;)

The resort is beautiful during the day.
Lots to do, but would not advise any families with younsters to walk around at night. Too rowdy with large groups of drunken youngsters standing around on the streets.

despite the problems with the hotel, the resort was great. great location, great nightlife and a great beach (although it wasn't made of sand but little tiny stones which are painful!)
