Avoid if you want an All Inclusive holiday and don't want to pay for anything as this hotel charges by the minute it seems for anything they want to.
Do not stay here.. Worst ever so called hotel I have stayed in

Take an empty water bottle with you down to breakfast and fill it up, saving you having to buy water for the day.

The hotel was located fairly close to the beach, only a five minute walk away and was very pretty this time of year and empty.
We used local transport to go on a day trip to barcalona. We took a bus to blanes to the train station and got a train from blanes to barcalona. A return trip from blanes to barcalona for four adults cost 30 euro's and the bus cost us 1.20 euro's each. Whilst waiting at the bus stop we met a lovely family also staying at our hotel and going to barcalona for the day. We got on so well, we stayed together awhile and met up later to go back.
Although the resort is fairly shut down, we found we could still get a good coffee and buy cheap perfume at the markets and bring home some booze from the supermarket if we wanted to.
All in all fairly good facilities. Not bad Lloret.

Aimed for the very young this is very much hustle and bustle and is very commercialised. We went out of season but I imagine in the height of season this is very rowdy and a place for the young and lively.

resort was very clean and plesant, we were booked to go on the medievil night which we were looking forward to but after waiting half an hour for the coach to take us we were told that it had been cancelled due to lack of interest so decided to take a walk along the beach instead, the beaches were beutifull golden sands and blue water, temps in to 60 n 70 degrees , fab for time of year,we would visit the resort again

Lloret-de mar. The ideal place for groups to visit. We were able to go carting on one day played golf another and spent 2 days at the water park which was amazing. Everything is reasonably priced so you can make the most of the activities, some of our party went horse riding too.
The local clubs are freindly and a visit to the Robin Hood is a must for any visitor where staff are dressed in traditional outfits and serve medeival food and a selection of ales that friar tuck would be proud of. The Bank was close by and freindly offering an exchange rate of 1.48 euros to the pound which was better than in the UK.
I didn't visit the beach but did venture out of the resort on a hired moped and the scenery was much hillier and greener than I expected I almost felt that I was back in Wales. So for those of you that want an action packed holiday or short break visit Lloret de mar

The entertainment team what can I say they are fantastic they do a great job, always smiling always fun they entertain you from 10.30am until 12.30pm they are great with the kids and the adults (especially with my 32 yr old little boy ha my hubby).
The entertainment on the evening starts around 8pm they do Fun time for the kids So much fun !!
Then they do bingo yes BINGO which we never won ha, then open the box which WE did Win £690e we won near the end of our holiday so we went mad with it, but was fun they have a show on near every night.
There was a parrot show a fire eating man (that was nuts) a hyponitiset (can't spell) which I got up to do and I fell under thought I was on the Titanic and had to save every one oh yes lots of FUN going on every night we wernt getting to bed untill around 3am.
But I can onestly say the entertanment staff were incredable we loved them so much they made you feel so relaxed and good about every day, we meet great new friends THIS WAS THE BEST HOTEL plus is a FOUR star it is worth its stars defo.
We visited the beach and man made I hated it didnt like the feel but beach was lovley the kids loved it alsothre was a Mcdonalds which they liked even more, there is a pub called the Queen Vic and was great hugh screen for the men and the footy (which I didn't mind as I just sat and played connect four as the staf there entertain you also (is exspensive for the drinks) but nice beer..
We have already booked up to go back you might think sad but it has set very high standards for other resorts,,and my kids 14YR, 12YR girls and my 2 yr old little boy were in there element and we didn't have to worry about where they were.
We went to the local super market which was ok but there is a market up the road about 10min walk where all the local go and its just like a Asda with the discounted prices.
Well I have went on enough go yourselves and you will have the same opinon onest I really can not say how much this place is GREAT and as I said we have alredy booked up to go back !!!
And we will keep going back until it closes or gets bad BUT i very much doubt it THIS IS THE VERY BEST and you have to meet the entrtanment Staff (Phil is the manager and he is just Fab ).....as well as the team. love you guys and thanx again for fantastic time..the Gettins family...

Resort was very clean but not much night life but maybe because it was oct and near the end of season.
Not many bars to choose from or places to eat out although the hungry horse was great for food and had no trouble sorting us all out.
Beach was ok and close by to the hotel ,would not visit this resort again as there was not a lot to do.

We stayed in the fennels beach area which is a lot quieter than the main beach of Lloret, beach very clean and sandy not a lot going on but we were there late in the year which suited us. A short walk into Lloret to the main shops, at night you had a choice of all the night life or retire to a quiet area and totally relax there was plenty to choose from. I would expect the place to be very busy and possibly quite roudy in the main season

Llorett is very much for the young ones.
Be prepard when you go out to be harrased by ticket touts trying to get you into clubs and on trips, in the shops they try and pressure you into buying things. We were even pressured to go back to our hotel to get more money.
The beach is shingle, cant walk on it with bare feet, sea is rough could not let small children out of your sight, even older children would need to be stong swimmers, but there is a massive choice of resturants if your eating out and many pubs/clubs
