Beaches
The resort itself is very clean , no rubbish or litter anywhere. If you walk along the main promenade there are lots of bars and cafes and other hotels where they do entertainments with shows that anyone can go in and watch. We did only notice 1 nightclub in the direction of Pineda but then again we werent looking for them.
The beach wasnt very nice in the way that it was very coarse and pebbley. But it was very clean, the tractors went on it every morning and night to clean up any rubbish left from tourists and they dragged it for hours from one end to the other to keep it nice.
If you came out the hotel and turned right towards Caella you will find a mini circus, a go cart track, and there are also trampolines and pedalos on the beach. i will definately return here in the future as there is plenty for me to do and i certainly wouldnt find Pineda boring at all.

the thompson staff were all marvelous but it would have been nice to have a proffessional act once or twice. the beach was not very nice ..work was being carried out and the underpass was impassable, tankers were working there and jcbs were on the beach ...couldnt go on the beach .
Resort is not a hustle bustle resort like Salou or Santa Susanna so if this is what you are looking for you WILL be disapointed but Pineda itself is lovely and a 5 min walk away with the great Buckaneer pub on the way through a must for a drink. Avoid Fawlty Towers a few doors up food rubbish and service terrible!
Callela is a 20 min walk or catch the Wally Trolly but beware that if you get a return ticket they DO NOT clip this on your first journey friends of ours had this happen and they only got a one way ride!!
Callela is busier and has great resturants make the effort to walk the whole stretch past the church and there is a great resturant caled Grouchos well worth the walk!

Quiet well maintained resort with lovely beaches.
Nothing much in the way of night life, but for a
relaxing holiday for families and seniors it is very
nice.
